Rory and Lorelai: the mother-daughter duo that has been stealing our hearts since it's debut in 2000. Fiercely independent Lorelai raises her charming and driven daughter, Rory, by herself in small town Stars Hallow, Connecticut. The show is rumored to be revived, coming to Netflix hopefully by 2016.

In honor of the much-anticipated revivial, here's 16 life lessons Gilmore Girl taught me.
