Anxiety is never an easy thing to go through, especially alone. You feel trapped in your own life and can't live in the present without fear of the future. But there is someone who can help you through the peaks and valleys that plague an anxious mind, and that person is God. His love and grace is unfailing and can get you through the hardest of times even when it seems that all hope is lost. He can and will save you. Here are some verses to remind yourself that no matter what, God will grant you peace of mind, you just have to trust in his plan.

1. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Jesus Christ." - Philippians 4:6-7

2. "But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my savior; my God will hear me." - Micah 7:7

3. "Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me." - Psalm 23:4

4. "...and be content with what you have, because God has said, 'Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.'" - Hebrews 13:5

5. "Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord's coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord's coming is near." - James 5:7-8

6. "Cast all your anxieties on him because he cares for you." - 1 Peter 5:7

7. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." - Proverbs 3:5-6

8. "'Because he loves me,' says the Lord, 'I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.'" - Psalm 91:14-16

9. "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." - Matthew 11:28

10. "He has delivered us from such deadly peril, and he will deliver us again, On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us." - 2 Corinthians 1:10

11. "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'" - Jeremiah 29:11

12. "Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up." - Psalm 71:20

13. "If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you." - John 15:7

14. "He will wipe every tear form their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." - Revelation 21:4

15. "Peace i leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." - John 14:7

16. "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." - Isaiah 41:10

Knowing that God has a plan is oftentimes hard to understand, and trusting in that plan can be even more difficult, especially for someone with anxiety. So, if you find yourself struggling never forget that God will give you strength and guidance when you need it. His love for you is pure and never-ending. In times of trouble, lean on Him and He will be there.

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
