Classes have finally come to an end but spending countless hours in the library studying for finals, writing term papers and preparing presentations is slowly torturing all of us. It's times like this when we're running on little to no sleep that really takes a toll on us and we seem to see more of the negative in life than the things that make us happy and the things we are thankful for. Here's a reminder for you for some things you might be thankful for.

1. Family

The ones who always have our backs and are our number one fans through thick and thin. After all, would we really be here if it weren't for them?

2. Friends

Always there to pick you up when you fall down, always there to laugh and cry and of course... always up for a food run at 2 a.m.

3. College

The opportunity to go to college doesn't present itself for everyone. Take advantage of it and be thankful for it because it's the best four years of your life all while preparing you for the rest of your life.

4. Health

So many people take this for granted. Having good health is one key factor to living a long and happy life. Stay active. Stay fit. Stay healthy.

5. Dogs

I'm so sorry if you're allergic. There's nothing cuter than a dog and they never fail to put a smile on your face. Seeing a dog on a college campus is a complete standstill -- everyone has to stop and pet it.

6. Food

We all love food, but never seem to be thankful for the food put on our plate. Remember growing up how we all complained that we didn't want to eat this or that for dinner? Just be thankful you have a plate of food in front of you.

7. Ice Cream

Whether it be being stressed out over a term paper or a bad break, ice cream is the answer to all our problems.

8. Freedom of Speech

This is really important because without it, we would never be allowed to speak what's on our mind. Freedom of speech allows for truth.

9. Coffee

Dear coffee, thank you for waking me up in the morning and for helping me pull all nighters to finish last minute papers, assignments and studying.

10. Showers

There is nothing like a shower in the morning to start off your day, at night after a long hot day or after a nice workout at the gym.

11. Technology

What would we do without Google nowadays?

12. Music

We all listen to it, we all love it. Shout out to all my country fans.

13. Netflix

There's nothing better than winding down with some Netflix and a big bowl of popcorn after a really bad day.

14. The Opposite Sex

Whether your best friends, friends with benefits or even dating -- can't live with them, can't live without them. For some reason, it always seems like there's less drama with the opposite sex.

15. United States Armed Forces

We wouldn't be where we are today as individuals or as a nation without our men and women in blue or the countless number of men and women overseas fighting for this nation. The next time you see an active member of the armed forces or a vet, say thank you.

16. Freedom

We live in the best nation in the world. Love it, own it, be proud of it. #Murica

Take a second, look around. Always be thankful. We may never have everything, but at least we have something.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
