The INFJ type is the rarest among the Myers-Briggs type (to find out your type, take this free test). Here are 15 things that INFJ's know to be true!
1.Thinking much deeper than anyone else.
But really, though. The way you think is not even on the same planet as some people.
2. Having to hold back information you know about people (that your intuition picked up on).
Because you just know things. Sometimes you can "read" their mind. And you always know more about them than they have told you. And people find it creepy.
3. Wanting to be a badass, but also being the most sensitive person you know.
INFJ: "I am fierce. Nothing can stop me. Ever." Also INFJ: "Please don't yell at me, I have a very sensitive heart and I might cry."
4. Having only one or two close friends.
It's not that you can't make friends, you're just very selective about which ones you bare your heart to.
5. Your brain literally never stops.
From wondering what time it is to wondering why everyone's taste buds are different.
6. Not being well understood. By others. And even yourself at times.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?
7. Talking to people about what you're feeling.
Person: What's wrong?; INFJ: Everything. Nothing. I don't know.
8. Small. Talk. You hate it — give me the deep conversations.
WHY ARE WE STILL TALKING? I want to know what caused that deep pain in your heart or what is going through your mind at 2:00 a.m. Not what you had for lunch.
9. When you know the logical answer, but you have to consider their feelings.
Especially when listening to someone seeking advice.
10. Trying to make plans with a "P" type.
J: What time? P: Ehhh... I don't know. Sometime between morning and night.
11. People thinking you are cold/arrogant/distant.
I'm not rude, I promise.
12. Being a dreamer and a little bit of a cynic simultaneously.
I want world peace, but people can suck and we fight over trivial things.
13. The way things sound in your head vs. what they sound like when you speak them.
What I think: Beautiful and smooth thoughts. Clear and concise.
What I sound like: "Asdfghjk. Kjhgfdsa. Chaos."
14. People/sensory overload.
Why is everyone talking at once?!?! Why is the radio on?! Why are there SO many people in one room?! I need to go home — NOW.
15. How quiet you are.
I don't think I'm better than you and I'm not that mean. Just sometimes, I like the quiet. Words can pollute the air. And sometimes I don't feel like I need to respond.
