From Barbados to your bedroom, these are the 15 songs to complete your spring break experience. Happy spring break, be safe and have fun!

1. Youth - Troye Sivan

The best song to kick off a list like this one, Troye Sivan has exploded with his recent release of "Blue Neighborhood," and this song is slaying charts all over. Favorite lyric: "When the lights start flashing like a photo booth, and the stars exploding we'll be fireproof."

2. You're Such A... - Hailee Steinfeld

Hailee Steinfeld went from child star to diva of the Swift Squad right before our eyes. She stole our hearts with "Love Myself" but this track off her Haiz Ep will definitely keep your party spirit up! Favorite lyric: "And if you're all that's left when the whole world ends, no I still don't want to hear it anymore."

3. Vroom Vroom - Charli XCX

The perfect 90's princess, we got our first glimpse of Charli on Iggy Azalea's "Fancy" a few years ago, now the British singer songwriter is taking on the pop world all by herself. Her most recent release, "Vroom Vroom", will have you rolling down the windows and dancing in your seat all the way to the beach. Favorite lyric: "Bubblegum-pink Ferrari, yeah I'm so bossy."

4. Wild Things - Alessia Cara

Alessia Cara went from relatively unknown to an on-again-off-again member of the Taylor Swift girl squad in about 8 months. Her debut single 'Here' rocked out world and both her EP 'Four Pink Walls' and debut album 'Know it All' prove she's here to stay. Recently released 'Wild Things' is the next single off the album and gives the perfect air of 'wild and free' for a spring break trip to anywhere but here. Favorite lyric: So gather all the rebels now, we'll rabble-rouse and sing aloud. We don't care what they say no way, no way

5. I Know What You Did Last Summer- Shawn Mendes Feat. Camila Capello

Baby-faced Shawn Mendes teamed up with one-fifth of "Fifth Harmony" for this sassy break up tune. It may not sound like the perfect spring break song but this catchy melody will definitely add a different groove to the mix for those cloudier spring-summer days. Favorite lyric: "When she looks me in the eyes they don't seem as bright no more, no more."

6. Holla - MAX

MAX came to us from the YouTube-sphere but rightfully claimed his rock star reign after a tour with Fall Out Boy. "Holla" comes from his forthcoming album Hell's Kitchen Angel, and will certainly make you do some Willow-Smith-style-hair-whipping. Favorite lyric: "If I'm something you could get into just holla, holla, holla."

7. Love Me Like That - The Knocks Feat. Carly Rae Jepsen

Turns out the queen of bubblegum pop (see "Call Me Maybe") is much, much, more. Carly Rae Jepsen was just seen as Frenchy on Fox's first ever live musical "Grease" and with this track she's featured on we see another piece of the CRJ puzzle. Another song that doesn't necessarily fit the spring breaker mold, but give it the old college try! Favorite lyric: "Now I hear thunder in the distance and it hits me in an instance, crashing through my heart and I'm blown apart."

8. Player - Tinashe

If you want a song about a spring break fling, this is probably the one for you. First, let me point out the explicit label warning here: if you don't like curse words, you won't vibe with this song. Favorite lyrics: "Playing with fire if I burn, you do."

9. Enemiez - Keke Palmer

Miss Akeelah and the Bee is all grown up. Also recently featured on Fox's "Grease," but "Enemiez," her most recent release proves that the little champion speller is no more. This sassy jam will keep your spring break rocking from coast to coast. Favorite lyric: "You keep your friends close, but I know you keep your enemiez closer."

10. Hands to Myself - Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez's Revival has a track list full of spring break worthy songs but "Hands to Myself" is at least marginally above the rest. (Please be reminded to actively keep your hands to yourself over spring break without affirmative consent, this has been a PSA). Favorite lyric: "The doctor's say you're no good, but people say what they want to say."

11. Work - Rihanna Feat. Drake

Personally, I root for anything Drake and RiRi do, both individually and even more for what they do together. "Work" just came out off of Rihanna's newest released album "Anti." The island feel in this song is perfect for evening on and off the beach. Favorite lyric: I believed all of your dreams, adoration. You took my heart and my keys and my patience.

12. Post to Be - Omarion Feat Chris Brown

I definitely did not expect to have two songs featuring Chris Brown but here we are. I have to, once again, put on an explicit warning but the combination of Omarion, Brown and Jhene Aiko is about as summery/spring break-y as we can get. Also, if you don't know Jhene definitely look her up, she's an incredible addition on this track. Favorite lyric: "It's not my fault she wanna know me, she told me you were just a homie."

13. Pillowtalk - Zayn

The first single post One Direction, Zayn has gone all pop - RnB on us with "Pillowtalk." The video is steamy, starring Zayn's girlfriend model Gigi Hadid, and the song itself is perfect as spring break is winding down and you are traveling back to your reality. Favorite lyric: "Pillowtalk, my enemy, my ally. Prisoners, then we're free, it's a thriller."

14. Love Yourself - Justin Bieber

What a comeback, right? Justin Bieber came back from a rocky last few years in the public eye with Purpose, and knocked it out of the park. I think the sassier the better when creating a spring break playlist, and this song does sass better than any other. I for one was readmitted to "belieber-dom" after this album, and this song. Favorite lyric: "My mama don't like you and she likes everyone."

15. New Americana - Halsey

Last but certainly not least. If you want to go for wild and free themed on this spring break, this is the song for you. "New Americana" is the first single off of breakout artist Halsey's debut album Badlands. Embrace your rebellious side with this track on your break. Favorite lyric: "Viral mess, turned dreams into an empire. Self made success, now she rolls with Rockefellers."

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

Sister | Brother Style - Word Press

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
