While the sheer diversity of Harvard's student body translates to a broad range of stories and perspectives, sharing a campus means we can always relate to and commiserate with common experiences. Here are just a few:
1. You've stopped gawking at the amazing architecture in Annenberg.
Sometimes, it's easy to forget that the dining hall looks like Hogwarts.
2. You're an expert at crossing streets, even when the walk signal is off.
It's not jaywalking -- it's strategic street-crossing. Mass Ave. is scary.
3. Your Board Plus balance is almost nonexistent...
Well, I guess this means no more sushi from the Greenhouse Cafe.
4. You're tired of the tourists that obstruct your path to class on a daily basis.
I'm just trying to get to math lecture on time...your picture of John Harvard is not that important.
5. More specifically, you avoid the John Harvard Statue at all costs.
6. Insomnia Cookies, JP Licks, and Zinneken's. Enough said.
7. You've received an S/O from the Harvard Compliments Facebook Page.
8. You're waiting for the day that someone gives you an S/O on the Harvard Compliments Page.
9. Everyone and their sister is taking CS50.
Is this what coding looks like?
10. You have at least a few spots on campus where you're comfortable napping in public.
Freshman fall has been a whirlwind of self-discovery paired with a steep learning curve, and I'm more than ready to head home for the holidays and recharge before second semester.
