Last week, teenage girls everywhere collectively screamed in excitement when some genius concocted the recipes for the internet-dubbed "Rainbow Drinks" at Starbucks. These drinks, coming in an assortment of colors ranging from flamingo pink to royal purple, have seemingly taken over the orders of millions of Starbucks sippers within the past month.

However, Starbucks isn't the only favorite food chain that can deliver top-secret, insanely delicious menu items, only available to the true fans who do their homework and find their recipes. From Chipotle to Jamba Juice, it seems that ordering customized, off-the-menu items are the new trend at popular food chains for today's consumers. That being said, here are the most popular, most coveted secret menu items from your local food chains that you never knew you needed until right now:

Starbucks Frappuccinos

1. Banana Cream Pie Frappuccino

If you're not in the mood for any of the traditional frap flavors, take a chance on this southern staple! By asking your barista for a vanilla bean frap with pumps of vanilla and hazelnut, along with an entire banana thrown into the mix, you'll have yourself sipping up a creamy, fruity frap that takes you right back to grandma's classic recipe.

2. Cinnamon Toast Crunch Frappuccino

Fact: Cinnamon Toast Crunch goes down in history as one of the all-time most delicious cereals on the planet. Also a fact: you can order a Cinnamon Toast Crunch frappuccino easily at your local Starbs. Simply ask your barista for a white mocha frap with one pump of cinnamon dolce, one pump of hazelnut, and a little cinnamon-sugar to top it off! Yum!

3. Ferrero Rocher Frappuccino

Being that I could probably down a whole box of Ferrero Rocher chocolates in one sitting, I actually screamed with excitement when I found this bad boy. Thank you from the very bottom of my heart to whatever genius found the recipe for a Ferrero Rocher Frap. You get it. Anyway, you can get your hands on one of these dreamy, chocolately drinks. Simply ask for a double chocolate chip frap, two pumps of mocha, one pump of hazelnut, and a hazelnut or chocolate drizzle to get yourself an order of this candy-inspired concoction!

Chipotle

1. Quesarito

What's the only thing better than a Chipotle burrito? If you said "a Chipotle burrito wrapped in a cheesy quesadilla", then you'd be correct. This tortilla-wrapped hybrid is literally two meals in one. Ask your associate for a "quesarito" or for a cheese quesadilla to act as your burrito shell. Not only does your burrito get an extra indulgent layer of gooey Mexican blend cheese, but the contents of your meal get warmed to perfection. Can you say art?

2. Quesadilla

Currently, Chipotle only bestows the privilege of ordering one of their insanely wonderful quesadillas to the kid's menu. However, you can ask for a full-sized quesadilla at any time! Fill it with your favorite burrito fixings and watch in awe as your Chipotle associate places an additional tortilla and an extra helping of cheese on top, then add it to the press. Pure magic.

3. Nachos

You know you've thought about it at least once. What would my burrito bowl taste like over chips? Well, your prayers have been answered. By swapping out rice for tortilla chips in the bottom layer of your burrito bowl, you've instantly got yourself a bowl of Chipotle nachos, complete with all of the toppings!

Sonic

1. Sonic Sunrise

If you're craving something fruity, tangy, and absolutely delicious, the Sonic Sunrise is a fan-favorite among secret menu searchers! This drink brings together equal parts cherry limeade and orange juice to make a powerful, addicting combination. This drink can be ordered by name or, more commonly, by it's contents. It's a treat for any fruit-lover!

2. Purple Sprite

Seriously, there is nothing more Insta-worthy than bright purple soda. The Purple Sprite is one of the most coveted drink orders at Sonic for it's unique taste and it's intense, violet hue! This drink is achieved by combining the perfect mix of Sprite, Powerade, lemonade, and cranberry juice. To order this item, ask for it by name or by the recipe and enjoy your refreshing, grape-colored beverage!

3. Deep-Fried Pickles

At most Sonic's in the US, the ingredients to make an order of these glutinous, savory golden nuggets are always around! As a retired item on the Sonic menu, longtime employees will most likely remember how to cook up an order of deep-fried pickles like the back of their hand. For an out-of-the-box, Southern-style snack, ask your local sonic to batter and deep-fry a few juicy pickle chips for you.

Jamba Juice

1. Butterfingers Smoothie

Probably not the healthiest choice at Jamba Juice, but who can resist chocolate and peanut butter? This dessert smoothie is a decadent combination of frozen yogurt, chocolate, peanut butter, carrot juice, and ice. Yes, I said carrot juice. So, really, this smoothie does have some nutritional value. You can feel less guilty now for getting it. You're welcome.

2. Chocolate Covered Strawberries Smoothie

A relatively easy smoothie for any employee to make, the Chocolate Covered Strawberries smoothie is jam-packed with rich chocolate and fresh-picked strawberry flavor. Simply ask for a Chocolate Moo'd smoothie with some strawberries and extra frozen yogurt thrown in and boom! A treat you can enjoy all year, not just Valentine's Day.

3. Blue-Topia Smoothie

Calling all blueberry lovers! Basically, this smoothie is the most blueberry item that one can possibly get at Jamba Juice without getting just a handful of blueberries. Ask for a smoothie with blueberry juice, a scoop of frozen yogurt, soy milk, blueberries, and ice for a very berry combination, fresh from the blueberry fields!

Taco Bell

1. The Enchirito

If a Taco Bell enchilada and a Taco Bell burrito loved each other very much and had a child, they would call it a Taco Bell Enchirito. This crossover-type menu item is a Mexican-food-lover's paradise. Ask your local Taco Bell for an enchilada stuffed with burrito filling (meat, cheese, beans, etc) and you'll have yourself your very own, very secretive, enchirito!

2.The Hulk Burrito

Just by the name alone, you can assume that this menu item is going to be green everything. Well, no. Not neccesarily. Actually, the Hulk Burrito is simply a regular burrito with an insane amount of guacamole added to it. Ask your Taco Bell server for extra guac to get yourself a meal of mutant proportions!

3. The Superman Burrito

With a name like The Superman Burrito, everything in this menu item has to be bigger, stronger, and better than your average order. This burrito holds extra potatoes, guacamole, sour cream, and tortilla chips inside! To get this superhuman-sized snack, ask for a Cheesy Double Beef burrito with extra everything!

So, the next time you're feeling a little adventurous at your favorite restaurant, pull up this helpful little guide and try one of these secret menu items! Not only will you have a like-worthy Instagram post, but happy tastebuds as well!
