I've tried 'em all, I really have, and the only church that truly feeds the soul, day in, day out, is the Church of Baseball. - Bull Durham

It's that time of year again: baseball season. Baseball, in my personal opinion, is God's game. It's the kind of game you can watch and sit back and be relaxed, but still be filled with action and excitement. Here are a few reasons baseball is the best sport.

1. It's a really fun game for both the players and the fans.

Honestly, there are so many games and other forms of entertainment at the ball park. Between innings, there are contests and games to play. There are also great souvenir nights to go to, like bobble heads. The sportscasters even get into the fun.

2. Baseball is a family sport.

Growing up, my brother, sister, and I played baseball and softball. When one of us played, it was a family affair. I've been to so many games with my brother, my dad, and the rest of my family, and we always have a good time.

3. The games are always a wonderful and friendly atmosphere.

I've been to so many baseball games in my lifetime, too many to even count. Not once have I ever had a bad experience at a baseball park. Everyone is always so kind and friendly, even if you're at a rival park. It's scary to go to Yankee Stadium when you're a Red Sox fan, but you can absolutely make it through the House of Pain without much pain.

4. It's been around forever.

Baseball was invented in the 19th century and has been played since then. The game has been played worldwide for a long time, and in the U.S. many players from other countries come to play for the MLB.

5. You can get tickets for $10 and they aren't terrible seats.

I'm serious. You can get a ticket for really cheap, and the seats aren't horrible.

6. There are so many different charity games that are played.

The best one is played during the Home Run Derby and All Star Week, in which the players in the derby hit a certain baseball and money is donated to the charity that is being played for that year.

7. There are so many baseball movies that you can't even keep count.

"Heroes are remembered but legends never die," from the Sandlot and "If you build it, they will come," from Field of Dreams are two memorable moments, but who could ever forget A League of Their Own?

8. Quotes from players are classic too.

"Pitchers are all liars or crybabies."- Yogi Berra

"It helps if the hitter thinks you're a little crazy."- Nolan Ryan

"Kids are always chasing rainbows, but baseball is a world where you can catch them."- Johnny Vander Meer

9. It makes you feel like a kid again.

No matter how old you are, you can run around the bases and feel like you're a 12-year-old again playing the game you love.

10. The food at a baseball stadium is always great.

Who doesn't love a Fenway Frank?!

11. The smell of the stadium is unforgettable.

When you walk into a stadium there are so many smells and so much to see. How could you ever be bored?

12. I love the fact that it's one of the most frustrating and satisfying games in the world.

Most of the time, I want to rip my hair out and scream at the TV, but when your team wins the World Series, life is perfect.

13. Even girls can have a good time.

If this girl isn't me, I don't even know who is. I get so into games that sometimes I don't even know what to do.

14. Baseball is so simple to learn and to play.

Honestly, all you need is a glove and a bat and a field to play in, and you're set.

15. The time between the end of the World Series and Spring Training seems so long, but when it's finally Opening Day, life gets good again.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
