Netflix

Netflix and freaking chill.

Literally, get a bag of Lays chips, Ben & Jerry's pint and your comfiest sweatpants. It's Netflix time. If you haven't heard this phrase, then you either live under a rock or you're extremely old, either way, that doesn't exclude you from my top 15 AWESOME shows you must watch this summer.

1. "Weeds"

All-time favorite. Would recommend to anyone who thinks drugs are cool or likes milfs.

2. "American Dad"

Most people shit on me for liking this but it's actually really entertaining. And if you like drunk idiots (or can relate to being one), then you will definitely find yourself watching episodes that are based around Roger.

3. "The Office"

This is a fucking classic. Don't watch this show if you hate yourself. Good people can only watch this.

4. "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"

Oh my God, Danny Devito loses his hoes in almost every episode and it is an extremely great show worth watching -- maybe have a couple beers while you watch.

5. "Bobs Burgers"

I thought that I wouldn't like this when it first came out on Netflix because, let's face it, Netflix-produced shows are usually awful... but this was a pleasant.

6. "Parks and Recreation"

In my household, it's known as "Parks and Rec," so if you want to seem cool, then just call it that. This show is similar to "The Office" (in my opinion, a little bit less funny) but still worth the watch.

7. "30 Rock"

This show is amazing! Tina Fey is a rock star writer. I would recommend this show to any friend!

8. "Orange is the New Black"

As I stated before, usually Netflix produced shows aren't good. However, this show has got everybody talking -- if you like jails and women, then this is your thing.

9. "Breaking Bad"

I know this series is so old, but honestly, it's still one of the best shows I've ever watched. However, I am starting to see a trend of mostly drug related shows I'm watching... So if you're not into that, then maybe skip to the next Odyssey article. But also, if you're into hot guys, then check out Jesse Pinkman before anything.

10. "Scrubs"

Classic. Nothing else needs to be said. Like "Grey's Anatomy," but funny and not so freaking sad.

11. "Arrested Development"

This show is just hilarious. A bunch of insane people all shoved into one home -- it gets a little crazy at first, but the show in general is stellar.

12. "Family Guy"

Again...this is a classic. Why do you think it has so many seasons? People love Peter Griffin...and Stewie.

13. "Grey's Anatomy"

OK, this is a serious show. If you don't like medical shows, then definitely don't watch this. Also be prepared to be sucked in immediately -- cancel work the next couple days. Also, multiple hot guys!

14. "American Horror Story"

I'm not going to lie...I've never watched this before, but that's because I'm a baby and I would get scared going to sleep at night if I watched this. However, I've heard from my macho-tough friends that this show is great. (P.S. I only picked the GIF because I didn't want to look through too many scary ones.)

15. "Scandal"

OMG. Must watch! So enticing...so scary...yet, somehow I can tolerate this. And if you think it might be based around too much politics (because that's what I thought), then trust me it's not!

Now go log onto your Netflix account and go wild! Order a pizza, snuggle with your animals and freaking chill.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
