15 Unforgettable Moments Of 2015

2015 has been a year like no other. Up until today, 362 days of the year have flown by and have brought both good and bad memories. So much has occurred in 2015 that it is easy to forget what all has happened. Here are the top 15 most unforgettable moments of 2015.

1. A dress color that took the world by storm.

Black and blue or white and gold, it's whatever. It's just funny that the biggest question in society for the month of February was whether or not the dress was actually black and blue.

2. The Golden State Warriors won the NBA Championship.

During Game 6 of the 2015 NBA Championship, the Golden State Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers by eight points.

3. Olympic champion, Bruce Jenner, transitioned into Caitlyn Jenner.

Caitlyn Jenner, formerly Bruce Jenner, landed the cover of Vanity Fair as a way of showing the world the transition. In July, Caitlyn was awarded the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPYS.

4. The United States Women's National Soccer Team won the FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada.

The US Women's National Soccer Team beat Japan 5-2 in the final Women's World Cup game in Canada. This team took the world by storm and encouraged their platform "#SheBelieves" as a message for girls and women everywhere to accomplish their goals and dreams.

5. Taylor Swift went on her 1989 World Tour.

Seeing Taylor Swift live will bring you more than enough happiness for a lifetime, but the fact that she brought special guests with her on tour once again proves why Taylor is one of America's favorites.

6. Blue Bell Ice Cream was discontinued.

After an outbreak of the listeria bacteria, all Blue Bell products were put on recall. Blue Bell went under investigation and found that the bacteria had been growing in their plant in Oklahoma.

7. One Direction lost a member.

The band that started out as a group of five turned into a group of four. Zayn Malik retired from One Direction and left every 1-D fan speechless.

8. Blue Bell Ice Cream made its return to the freezer aisles.

Blue Bell made its return after months of being discontinued. It has started in stages and will eventually be back in stores everywhere.

9. Donald Trump is running for president.

Needless to say, Donald Trump has made both friends and enemies throughout his presidential campaign this year. While trying to "Make America Great Again," he has very clearly stated his mind, opinions, and anything else he feels like sharing because he's Donald Trump.

10. Everybody learned how to do the Whip and Nae-Nae because of one song.

Children, teenagers, and adults have all learned these two trendy dance moves. The Whip and Nae-Nae are dance moves that we'll see more of in 2016 because they won't be going away anytime soon.

11. ISIS terrorist attacks were made in Paris.

The entire world wept for Paris once word spread of the attacks. A few days after the attacks took place, ISIS claimed responsibility for the acts of terror that left 130 people dead.

12. Everyone tried having lips like Kylie Jenner.

Kylie Jenner's increased lip size had everyone wanting a bigger pout. The Kylie Jenner Lip Challenge became a thing where people tried sucking on a shot glass, small cup, etc. until their lips would swell. This is a fad that needs to be left behind in 2015.

13. "Furious 7" came to theaters.

After the death of the "The Fast and the Furious" star, Paul Walker, the series came to an end. During the last ride, the song, "See You Again," on the movies soundtrack became one of the most well-known songs in America this year by reaching a billion views on YouTube.

14. Steve Harvey announced the wrong Miss Universe.

He had one job and he managed to mess it up. While announcing the 2015 Miss Universe, Steve Harvey announced Miss Colombia as the 2015 Miss Universe, when really it was Miss Philippines who won. Although Miss Colombia handled the situation in the best way possible, this embarrassing moment definitely beats Jennifer Lawrence falling at the Oscars in 2013. We still forgive you though, Steve.

15. Adele made the greatest comeback since the Backstreet Boys In a World Like This tour.

After three long years, Adele finally came back. Since the birth of her child in 2012, she has left the world with the question "'What does Adele have for us next?" In 2015, Adele came back with a huge "Hello."

2015, you will be missed dearly, but personally, I can't wait to say hello to 2016. #NewYearNewMe

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection.
