15 Things The Lottery Winners Should Do With Their Money

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past couple of weeks, the powerball lottery was up to $1.5 billion. That’s a crazy amount anyone could benefit from, even Oprah, even Beyonce! Millions of Americans bought tickets a woman even started a GoFundMe to reimburse all the money she spent on tickets. That definitely seems like a worthwhile bet, the chances of winning are only about 1 in 292 million.

The winners of the lottery have more money than they know what to do with. I have a few suggestions regarding how they could put their money to good use.

1. Pay my tuition. (undergrad and graduate school, please)

2. Feed children.

3. Buy a private island (because why not?)

4. Hire Taylor Swift on retainer.

5. Help Syrian refugees.

6. Stop global warming.

7. Pay Donald Trump to drop out of the presidential race.

8. Attend the Oscars.

9. Make a guest appearance on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.


10. Save the polar bears.

11. Stay in an ice hotel.

12. Go to Antarctica.

13. Go to the moon.

14. Find a cure to cancer.

15. Buy the country of Greece (that’s a thing right? How much financial trouble are they in, exactly?)
