Fall is here, which means the best month of the year is upon us. October brings us some of the best things -- vest weather, pumpkin spice lattes and the newest season of "Scandal." But without a doubt, one of the best things October has to offer is Halloween!

Now, for many of you I'm sure there are several costume-themed events on your calendar for this glorious month, so I'm here to make your life a little easier because buying costumes on a college budget is nearly impossible -- $40 for a Miley Cyrus costume? No thank you. Instead I'm here to propose a more fiscally responsible idea -- DIY costumes! Most of these costumes take little to no time to make, and you'll be sure to stand out from the crowd!

Here's my list of the ultimate DIY costumes for this Halloween season!

Couples.

Whether you're going with a friend, significant other, or a coworker these costumes are sure to be the highlight of any party!

1. Marlin and Dory.

2. Bunny and Carrot.

3. Arnold and Gerald.

Groups.

One of the most fun things about Halloween is getting dressed up with your friends, so why not have a costume that helps the world know how tight your clique really is?

Halloween can also be a time to get a little crazy, be someone different for a night and these singles costumes are a sure way to help you have a fun night.
