Festival season is upon us, which means blazing hot sun, and everyone waiting to see what Vanessa Hudgens will be wearing to Coachella this year. But this also means Vans Warped Tour is quickly approaching. All summer long countless bands will be taking the stage across America, to play the longest running festival. Here are some of the upcoming bands that are definitely worthy of your attention.
1. Palaye Royale
A fashion-art rock band that are breath of fresh air in the scene. They're releasing their debut album June 24th titled "Boom Boom Room: Side A" featuring Mr. Doctor Man. With Remington Leith's vocals, and impressive instrumentals that make this a song that you can get up and dance to. Paired with eye catching circus imagery that'll keep you watching. Catch them all summer long on Vans Warped Tour.
2. Roam
A pop-punk band hailing from the UK who just released their debut “Backbone.” “Tracks,” the latest single off of the album, is a heartfelt rendition of a strained relationship. It shows a softer side of the pop punk group that will be alongside your playlist with All Time Low.
3. The Heirs
This Los Angeles based band with an electro-pop sound you’ll be sure to see more of. They have a familiar sound reminiscent of artists like Ellie Goulding but with a twist. They’ll be on the Poseidon stage all summer long.
4. Broadside
A pop punk band that could easily fit alongside State Champs. “Coffee Talk,” from their latest album, “Old Bones,” is sure to be a mainstay for the summer. Catchy choruses, jumps and a fun stage presence. Definitely keep an eye out for the Full Sail Stage.
5. Like Pacific
They blend early 2000’s pop punk with a slice of hardcore, which definitely gives them an evolved sound. They recently released their new album, “Distant Like You Asked," which oddly enough sounds like a line from a breakup text. Give their title track, “Distant” a listen below.
6. More to Monroe
This post hardcore band has recently just dropped their EP, "Appalachia." They also toured earlier this year with Ice Nine Kills, who will also be on Warped Tour this summer. More to Monroe will be jumping on later on this summer for the last week of tour. If they’re hitting your Warped date, definitely give them a chance.
7. Safe to Say
They are an alternative rock band from Ontario that will be playing Warped all summer. They’re currently working on a new album, but in the meantime give, “Summer Sickness” a listen off of "Hiding Games," their latest EP.
8. Gideon
This is a hardcore band that’ll be tearing up the Monster Energy Party Zone everyday this summer. They’ll make you pay attention, with knockout vocals and melodic choruses. Pick up their album “Calloused” and come see them on tour.
9. Assuming We Survive
A pop punk band that has been fighting their way to the top after a successful tour with Falling in Reverse a few months ago. People are starting to take notice, and for good reason. They’ll be releasing their latest album, “All Roads Lead Home” June 24th.

After catching Waterparks on tour with Never Shout Never, I went home and had to give them a listen. They have an interesting sound, and will get you off your feet live. Give their new EP, “Cluster” a listen on YouTube.
