It's highly likely you've heard probably every song on this list whether you realize it or not. You don't even have to listen to that archaic piece of technology referred to as a radio because these songs are everywhere, all the time, sometimes whether we like it or not. In no particular order, here's a list of said songs:

1. Any and every song on any pop radio station

These things are highly notorious for rotating through all the current hits until you can sing them in your sleep. Chances are they'll also pop up when you least want them to at bars, in the grocery store, restaurants and what have you. While promoting current artists is a good thing, there are limits. Plus, the majority of the world could use a little less of that b.s.

2. "Don't Stop Believing" - Journey

Everywhere you go, the grocery store, the gas station, restaurants, bars, church, sporting events, the doctor's office, the gym, this song makes an appearance in some way, shape, or form complete with people waving actual lighters or pretending they are. Don't get me wrong, I love Journey but there is so much more to their catalog than just this one song.

3. "Bohemian Rhapsody" - Queen

This is one of the greatest tragedies known to man because this is such an epic song. Yet, nearly every time I hear it, I skip it or switch stations because I've heard it so many times. We could also easily add "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions" to this list; that dynamic duo is literally everywhere.

4. Anything and everything Justin Bieber has ever done

There are just some things the world needs a little less of and his music is one of those things. Maybe Trump's next heinous act will be to banish Bieber once and for all or, better yet, put him on the other side of this wall he's planning.

5. "Blank Space" - T.Swift

T. Swift is cool and all and I've caught and quickly reprimanded myself for singing along to this song entirely too many times.

6. "Sweet Home Alabama"

Ya gotta love ya some ole Lynyrd Skynyrd but dear gracious alive the first five seconds of that infamous opening are automatically a no. As a native southerner, I definitely think this song's overwhelming popularity is rooted in the fact that rednecks and all their southern pride love Lynyrd Skynyrd. Chances are you'll hear these same people screaming for "Freebird" after they've had one too many Bud Lights.

7. "The Joker" - Steve Miller Band

Steve Miller has so many other better songs that I rarely hear. Yet every station relating to classic rock or something similar plays this song 24/7. As annoying as this song is, it did inform me as to the double meaning of "peaches." Thanks, I guess?

8. Anything "Adele"

"Hello, it's me" and I'm asking we switch some Adele tracks for anything else as long as it's not T. Swift, Justin Bieber, or One Direction. I guess that whole Grammy split thing with Beyoncé is one reason she's constantly getting air time. But still. Variety is good. Too much of a good thing is a bad thing.

9. "Dream On" - Aerosmith

Too bad they had to release this song a second time for it to really blow up. Maybe if it had done well the first time, we'd hear it twice as much as we do now. Now, it's just another epic song I usually skip through because I've heard it a billion times.

9. Anything by AC/DC

The Thunder from Down Under definitely has not gone back under yet; they're definitely still cruising the highway to hell, likely while flipping radio stations at the sound of their own songs. That's a sad state of affairs right there.

10. "Free Fallin'" - Tom Petty

While I love Tom Petty, I'm not such a huge fan of this particular song because I could sing it in my sleep and recite the lyrics by heart. Why not play "Mary Jane's Last Dance" or any of the other great songs by Tom Petty?

11. "Smoke on the Water" - Deep Purple

This is another of those epic songs by another one-hit-wonder that has been attempted at high school dances across the nation by wanna-be musicians for decades. As if that wasn't enough, it's at the top of every radio station queue known to man.

12. Anything by Foreigner

Even though I have no Foreigner anywhere in my music library, I could recite their entire catalogue to you based on the amount of Foreigner I hear on the radio. The good news is, they actually play multiple songs from their catalogue.

13. "More Than a Feelin'"- Boston

If I hadn't constantly heard this song on the radio as a teenager, I'd never have discovered my love for Boston. Similarly, thousands of drunken hookups would never have happened had this song not provided the necessary words of encouragement. Too bad the next morning you wake up and realize it definitely wasn't more than a feeling.

14. "Sympathy for the Devil" - The Rolling Stones

I really love this song and the message in the lyrics but geez, I've heard it way too many times for my own good. The Stones have such a great catalogue and we only hear the same five 24/7.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
