2. She always knows what to say.
If there's anyone on planet earth who can completely change your perspective on things for the better in a matter of minutes—it's her. It's like she's your personal psychiatrist/motivational speaker/best friend all in one.
3. She knows you better than you know yourself.
It's crazy to think but, she does. It's like she has a second intuition about you which you will find so helpful in life.
4. She's always right.
Even if you hate to admit, she is. You shouldn't think of it as a bad thing either. Tell her she's right every once in a while, she will definitely appreciate it. She'll always know what's best for you.
5. She's been there, since the beginning.
Literally.
She was there for your birth.
You may have a few people you share lifelong friendships with that are important to you as well. But, the bond you share with your Mom is the ultimate one to cherish.
6. She knows your favorites.
From your younger years to your adult life, she knows your likes and dislikes by heart. I mean, what's better than coming home for the weekend to your favorite meal, home cooked by none other than her?
7. She has tons of life lessons to share with you.
What's more useful than someone who has been through what you're going through now? No matter what the situation, it's more than likely that your mom has experienced it already. You'd be surprised as to how little the apple falls from the tree.
8. She will always make you smile, even on your worst days.
On those bad days, you may find yourself at a loss of emotion. A simple call to your mother is easiest solution. I promise that when you end that call, it'll be with a smile on your face.
9. You can say what's on your mind.
and she won't judge you for it.
She will be there to make you feel the most comfortable in whatever situation you may be going through in life. So, don't be shy to let her know how you feel.
10. She's your #1 fan.
Your Mom is there to support you through thick and thin. From your elementary school plays to your high school graduation, she was always there cheering the loudest in the room. She will continue to be supportive throughout the rest of your life, too even when the going gets tuff.
Don't forget that!
11. Her expectations for you are set high.
The reason why you may feel stressed from your Mom sometimes, is because of the fact that she wants you to do your best. It's best to aim high in life. She will set that boundary high as well, so listen well and don't take things personally which leads into my next point.
12. She knows what's best for you.
Trust me.
Going along with the whole idea of your Mom always being right, it's all in the good and betterment of yourself. She will guide you through things like which people to steer clear of in your social life and also give helpful hints and advice that will lead into your professional life. It's sometimes better than the advice that you may receive from your peers—who are the same age as you.
Catch the hint?
13. She makes you laugh.
Sure, they may be a little lame and silly at times but, sometimes in life it's nice to enjoy the simple things in life. They add up to something truly beautiful.
14. She will tell you her honest opinion.
If you're indecisive about something—go to your Mom. She will eliminate the whole sugar coating process for you that some of your friends opt out for and give you cleanest and most honest bit of advice.
If anyone deserves appreciation, it's your Mom. Give her a call or text and let her know how much she means to you. She may hit you with that "What do you want?" text but, if it's done more often I promise, she won't come off in that manner. It'll only take a few minutes just to make her whole week that much better. Appreciate every day you have with her! After all, she will always be your best friend.
