College can be stressful. Some weeks are better than others. And we all understand what it's like to feel like we're having the worst week ever.
1. You wake up Monday morning and realize life is going to be hitting you hard this week.
"I just gotta take the hit."
2. You realize all of your tests are in the same week. And all your professors post their study guides at the same time.
"Please. No. Not today. Take it back."
3. Your alarm goes off to tackle another day of stress.
4. You've been the most valued customer all week at the coffee shop.
"I'm only alive because of all the caffeine I've consumed."
5. Your crush runs into you and asks you how you're doing, after stating that you look a little tired and points out the dried food stain on your wrinkled shirt.
"I'm great. Thanks for asking. Can't you see my life is falling apart."
6. Workout with your friends, they said. It'll de-stress you, they said. But you just get injured in the process.
7. You're just trying to call your mom for some moral support, but she keeps missing your calls. Because she has her life together.
"ET, phone home."
8. When you've spent hours 'writing' that essay. But you still aren't even close to done.
"Help."
9. You have nothing to wear because all of your clothes are dirty. And you have no time to do laundry. So you tackle the rest of the week in whatever you can find.
"I still got this."
10. You go to get a power snack. But your fridge is empty.
"Why is this happening to me."
11. And so is your bank account so you try to survive off of the nutrition of your own fear of making it through the rest of this week.
"It is now a high possibility that I will die before this week is over."
12. When you finally get to the test that your teacher said was all multiple choice. And it is all not multiple choice.
"Well, crap."
13. When your friends try to start drama. But you still have two days left of this week from hell.
"This is not happening right now, Rachel. I'm not doing it."
14. Class lets out on Friday and this week is officially over. You're not sure if you're going to turn up or turn in. The possibilities are endless.
"I'm free!"
Or, free for at least two days. Because next week will start the cycle all over again.
Stay strong, fellow grasshoppers.
