Let's just say these past few weeks haven't been easy. Sometimes you get stuck inside your head and forget about what is important in life and what you have, instead of what you don't have. I decided to compile a list of Bible verses that I find helpful when everything seems helpless. It's okay to feel alone, upset, and angry. You can allow yourself to feel like a failure or burden. It is alright to feel beat yourself up for a little while, but don't stay in that dark place because the longer you stay, the harder it is to get out. If you've experienced any excessive anger, stress, heartbreak, failure, or loss you should consider taking a look at this list:
1 John 4:16
"And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them."
Proverbs 3:5-6
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
Isaiah 41:10
"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous hand."
Psalms 147:3
"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."
1 Corinthians 13:7
"Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
Revelation 21:4
"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away."
Philippians 4:13
"I can do all things through Him who gives me strength."
Deuteronomy 31:6
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."
Psalm 3:3
"But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high."
1 Peter 5:7
"Cast all your anxiety on Him because he cares for you."
Psalms 34:17
" The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles."
Romans 8:18
"I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us."
James 1:19-20
"My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires."
John 14:27
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
