Taylor Swift, one of the world's most famous pop stars, has a reputation of writing break-up songs. While it is true that she does have a few songs about heartbreak, Swift has also written quite a few songs full of happy lyrics with upbeat rhythms. Below, I have scoured to find thirteen songs written by Swift that will make you smile (not cry). "Why thirteen?" you may ask ... that is Swift's lucky number, of course! I highly suggest giving some, if not all, of these songs a listen— you will not be disappointed!

1. "22"

22 is all about being, well you guessed it, 22 years old. This song is filled with catchy lyrics that I would suggest performing yourself when you turn 22, such as dressing up like hipsters, eating breakfast at midnight and making fun of your exes.

2. "Everything Has Changed"

"Everything Has Changed" is about wanting to know someone better— perhaps a new friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, etc. The song features Ed Sheeran, and its music video is about Swift's child "falling in love" with Sheeran's child. It is simply too cute to handle!

3. "Fearless"

While this song is a love song, "Fearless" is also about the beauty of love. It is by no means about a relationship breakup and will leave you feeling optimistic about your love-life, whether or not you are currently in a relationship.

4. "How You Get The Girl"

"How You Get The Girl" (HYGTG) is a light-hearted song that tells a person exactly how to get the girl. Its concept is simple but is extremely catchy!

5. "Mine"

"Mine" describes the best love a person has ever had. While this song is about true love, it is not at all sappy or corny. "Mine" tells the story of a couple from the day they met to moving in together.

6. "Our Song"

"Our Song" is one of Swift's earliest hits that will be stuck in your head for weeks! It is about trying to find you and your partner's 'song' and finding out that it is easier said than done!

7. "Ours"

"Ours" is an up-beat song that explains how love between two people belongs to them and no one else. The ending of the music video will definitely pull at your heart strings!

8. "Shake It Off"

I would be very surprised if you have yet to hear this song! "Shake It Off" is all about being yourself and learning to "shake off" the haters. (Potentially an ex, but shh).

9. "Starlight"

"Starlight" was written by Swift in honor of Connor Kennedy's grandmother. It describes a relationship with very cute lyrics!

10. "Stay Stay Stay"

"Stay Stay Stay" is an adorable song! Although its lyrics are not quite as diverse as some of Swift's other songs, its beat is super catchy. As soon as you turn this song on, you will immediately find yourself wanting to dance!

11. "Sweeter Than Fiction"

Not many people have ever heard "Sweeter Than Fiction." It was written for a film called "One Chance" that was screened at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival.

12. "The Best Day"

Swift wrote "The Best Day" for her mother. This song describes a girl (Swift) growing up, from five years old to her late teens/early twenties. Although listening to "The Best Day" might make you shed a tear, it will be from happiness, not sadness.

13. "Welcome To New York"

"Welcome To New York" (WTNY) is about what Swift experienced when she moved to New York City about two or three years ago.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
