Coming back to the daily grind of classes and work after spring break is always a struggle. Whether you spent a week on the beach or on the couch in your favorite pajamas, that little taste of summer vacation always makes the return to your stress-inducing schedule that much more difficult. Here are 13 ways to tell if spring break just wasn't enough and you're ready for summer break to start ASAP (don't worry, it'll be here before you know it!).
1. You're always checking your weather app.
If the temperature is above 50 degrees, it's a good day.
2. You ditch the jacket whenever the sun is out.
It's time to start working on the summer tan right away (even if it's still freezing outside).
3. And you just can't deal on the days with winter-like weather.
The first official day of spring already passed, therefore winter weather is no longer acceptable. You just don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
4. Your free time is spent scoping out cute new summer clothes on Pinterest.
You might be broke, but that doesn't mean you can't find a way to make ends meet for a new bikini or that cute pair of shorts.
5. You're missing your high-school friends more than usual.
You've probably been out of touch with the old crew for a while at this point in the semester, so you guys are due for a major catch-up session.
6. And you guys already have plans for a road trip once you get home.
Just because you're all at different schools doesn't mean you can't continue your usual shenanigans over the breaks.
7. You have a craving for smoothies and ice cream.
Relaxing under the summer sun with a refreshing smoothie or a delicious ice-cream cone sounds ideal right now.
8. You've switched over from hot to cold drinks at Starbucks every morning.
Ordering a Frappuccino is finally appropriate again!
9. You've started budgeting for music festivals.
Unless, of course, you have already purchased your ticket(s) and have your outfits planned out.
10. Studying has become (even more) unbearable.
Not that studying was enjoyable before.
11. The procrastination habit has gotten much worse.
Netflix has become the priority in your life.
12. You've written out a complete summer bucket list to tackle with your friends.
Everything from trying new restaurants to discovering new cities -- it's all included.
13. Your calendar is a literal countdown to the beginning of summer break!
You're working hard to succeed in school, and you love being with your college buds, but you can't contain your excitement when you realize how close you are to summer vacation.
