Whether you are visiting family or staying at home, here are 12 activities that everyone can still do while remaining safe.

2. Visit a local park

This is a fun way to observe the beauty of nature and do cardio exercise while being safe. Make sure to bring a camera and take pictures of the scenery. Try making a sketch of the background if you love artwork. If you have kids or younger siblings, they will enjoy the playgrounds in some of the parks.

3. Plan a camping trip

If you have a grill and fire pit, then roasting marshmallows, having a BBQ, telling stories, and playing music on a radio will make a fun and most certainly affordable outdoor experience. Another option would be taking your family to a National Park in an RV that's available for rent if you do not have one. 4. Gardening

One activity that is fun, healthy, and will cause you to save money is starting a garden. Your family can get involved in helping to create a beautiful garden with freshly grown fruits, herbs, and vegetables. By doing this, you will spend less trips to the grocery store, gain access to a variety of nutritious food, and could possible open a plant nursery or farm stand.

Around the age of 12, when I was deciding whether or not to be gay, Satan appeared on my left shoulder. “Ramsssey,” he said with that telltale lisp. “Come over to our side.
