The break between Thanksgiving break and Winter break is tricky. Essentially, it’s a tease that frustrates college students across the nation. We work our butts off all semester only to be given a break that wipes our brains of everything we have been taught and drops our morale to an all time low. We’re pretty much all thinking the same thing…
1. So wait... I just packed to go home, unpacked at school, and now I have to turn back around and pack again?
2. This should be fun. Two weeks crammed with exams, presentations, and projects is JUST what I want to welcome me back to school.
3. It can’t be changed because we can’t really move Thanksgiving… or any other winter holiday. I suppose I’m pretty stuck.
4. I just had a week off from school and now I have completely lost focus…
5. Motivation and morale are at an all time low. Stuffing my face full of homemade food has thrown me into a two-month food coma.
6. How does one forget everything in just a week? And why did I put off all of my work?
7. Just a couple more weeks, I can do this.
8. I actually can’t do this.
9. I’m still salty that I have to unpack and repack again.
10. I wonder if there could possibly be anything more irritating than the fact that I have to do this for the next four years.
11. At least winter break is two weeks… more than one… more time to nap, eat, and repeat.
12. The good news is, I’m already in the holiday spirit now!
