I don't know about you, but my life is full of awkward moments. Sometimes I am convinced my life is one big awkward moment. So here's some signs that you might want to look out for...

1. You try to make casual conversation with strangers and end up horribly insulting them instead.

2. Your family has no sense of privacy whenever it comes to discussing bodily functions. So this is more your family is awkward, which inevitably makes most public outings...well awkward.

3. You can never wink at someone without looking like you have something in your eye. Or an eye twitch. Or maybe having a miniature seizure. It's a real struggle.

4. You convince yourself you haven't outgrown the baby swing at the park and end up having to call in the SWAT Team to rescue you. (This hasn't actually happened to me, but clearly it does happen.) Just accept that you're an adult and go play on the merry-go-round people.

5. You always end up with a look of severe constipation with a hint of crazy whenever an attractive person speaks to you.

6. You still need your mom to help you boil water.

7. When in the midst of people whose awkwardness is ten times greater than your own, you make the situation more awkward by laughing hysterically for an awkward amount of time.

8. You frequently mistakenly think someone is waving at you, so naturally, you respond with your most energetic wave, only to realize they were not waving at you . So naturally, you do a quick fix by waving spastically to everyone in the near vicinity.

9. You mistake someone's food baby for the real deal and ask when they are due. Following with "Oh no, I meant due for your award for coolest person of the year!" is not advised.

10. The only suitors you have are creepy old men who persistently ask you to attend Friday night Bingo with them.

11. You have tripped at the least opportune moments and try to save face by break dancing but then you realize you can't dance so you just lay on the ground in shame.

12. You don't know how people eat food and still look normal.
