The time has finally come, and Meredith is starting to date again. While Major Thorpe is very good looking and seems like a nice guy, he cannot compare to Derek Shepherd. The kind of love that Meredith and Derek shared is something that only happens once in a lifetime. He was unbearably handsome, charismatic, and brilliant. He was the perfect husband. These are just a few reasons why McDreamy will never be replaced.

1. He had the dreamiest smile.

2. He had a way with words.

3. When McSteamy flirted with Meredith, he punched him.

4. He comforted Meredith when Doc died.

5. He saved Meredith from drowning.

6. He stood up to Meredith's mother for her.

7. He remembered the last time he kissed Meredith on that Thursday morning when she was wearing that ratty little Dartmouth T-shirt.

8. "It's a beautiful day to save lives."

9. He was the best dad ever.

10. Even after Meredith ruined his Alzheimer's trial, he still stood by his promise.

11. He had the most romantic proposal of all time.

No matter who Meredith ends up with, there can never be another MerDer.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register.
