I know with all the tragedies that have happened recently it is difficult to believe that there are still good things in the world. Well, here are some good things happening around the world.

Yes, you read that right. Muslims in Pakistan are pulling their money and labor together to build a church for the Christians that live in their neighborhood.
2. Scientists have deleted HIV in animals
At Temple University, a team of scientists have completely removed HIV from living animals. They used some specialized gene editing technology. This is a huge step in eradicating AIDS.
3. Tinder match led to organ donor match
After matching on Tinder, Lori Interlicciho found out she was compatible for a kidney transplant that her new girlfriend, Alana Duran, needed! She had been on the kidney transplant waitlist for four years and will finally be getting one she needs.
4. Billionaire Bill Gates is about to launch a Campaign to donate chickens to poor families in Africa
As silly as this picture is, Gates has partnered with Heifer International and is donating 100,000 chickens to those living in poverty in Africa. Chickens are easy to take care of and make a profit on, making them a valuable resource.
5. Woman protects homeless veteran's belongings when he collapsed
Dana Lee Calabrese had just finished dinner with her sister in Hollywood when a homeless veteran collapsed in front of them. The girls called 911, and when the paramedics came to pick him up, they weren't going to take his belongings. Dana gave the paramedics her contact information for when the veteran gets out of the hospital so he can receive his few belongings from her.
6. Chipotle covered the medical expense for a refugee mother
Chipotle donated $100,000 to the mother of this refugee family because of an incredible essay on hunger.
7. Disney World donated one million dollars to the victims of the Orlando attack
The Orlando attack was truly devastating, but the happiest place on earth is doing its part by trying to bring joy and comfort to those who need it.
8. Lowe's offered a man with a brain injury a job, as well as his dog
Lima is required to have his service dog with him at all times due to his injury. This made it difficult for him to find a job. When Lowe's offered him and his pooch a job, he broke down into tears and gladly accepted.
9. Speaking of pets, a man bought all of the pet food at a store so shelter animals wont go hungry
The pet store that Sean Squires bought the food from was going out of business. He decided to buy the remaining 570 bags and cans of food to donate to Canadian animal shelters.
10. Last year was the most charitable year to date in America
Roughly $373.25 billion was donated in 2015. Hopefully, the gift of generosity will grow and 2016 will be the best year yet.
11. Refugee family aids those displaced by Canada's wildfires
After being welcomed into Canada, this family of refugees asked for donations to aid those who were displaced by the wildfires in Alberta.
12. Pokemon Go is to be released in July
Pokemon Go will make everyone who has ever played a Pokemon game feel like a real trainer. The game was announced to be released this year, and now that fans know it will be in July, the excitement continues to build.
