12 Netflix Shows To Binge-Watch

This list is a result of asking all my friends and family what they like binge-watching on Netflix so big shout out to them!

" Baby Daddy"

5 Stars, 4 Seasons

This show is one of my personal favorites and will quickly become a favorite of yours too if you’re a fan of sitcoms. Baby Daddy follows the life of Ben, a twenty-something bartender, and his daughter Emma after her mother leaves her on Ben’s doorstep. Each episode is filled with the many shenanigans that ensue with Ben’s quirky family and friends! It’s certainly a must-see.

"Prison Break"

5 Stars, 4 Seasons

Prison Break is the show for you if crime and drama shows are your thing. After a man is wrongly convicted of a crime, his brother dedicates himself to getting himself sent to the same prison to break him out. Suspenseful and complex, Prison Break will have you begging for more.

"Person of Interest"

5 Stars, 4 Seasons

An ex-CIA agent and an oddball billionaire use crime-predicting software to stop violent crimes from happening. This show will have you on the edge of your seat for sure.

"House M.D."

5 Stars, 8 Seasons

This one rings in as another personal favorite of mine. Doctor House specializes in diagnostic medicine and takes on cases nobody else can solve. I know you’ve probably seen reruns of this show but I’m telling you it is way better watching it beginning to end.

"The Blacklist"

5 Stars, 2 Seasons

A new FBI agent and one of America’s top ten most wanted criminals team up after the criminal turns himself in, with a few conditions of his own that is. Exciting and intriguing, Blacklist will have you finished with the first two seasons and dying to see the next before you know what to do with yourself.

"House of Cards"

5 Stars, 4 Seasons

This show is truly great on a few levels. For one, the main character, a betrayed congressman seeking revenge, breaks the fourth wall and directly addresses the viewer throughout the show which gives you an insight into the main character you wouldn’t otherwise get. Plus, who doesn’t love a good ole fashioned plot line about getting back at people?

"Burn Notice"

4.5 Stars, 7 Seasons

After the U.S. government leaves a spy high and dry, he decides to use his training to help others in trouble. Government corruption and super secret spy stuff? Count me in!

"Hart of Dixie"

4.5 Stars, 4 Seasons

A young doctor from NYC accepts the offer of a stranger to be a GP in a tiny town and moves to Alabama. This show is a sitcom-dramedy mash up and completely addicting. You can’t help but love the characters and a plot line!

"Nurse Jackie"

4 Stars, 7 Seasons

A New York City, drug addicted nurse struggles to balance out the many struggles of her professional and personal life in this. However, she is completely kick-ass at her job and a complete rule bender. You’ll likely equally love her and hate her, but either way you won’t be able to stop watching.

"New Girl"

4.5 Stars, 4 Seasons

After a bad split from a loser boyfriend, quirky girl-next-door type Jess moves into and apartment with three guys who are best friends and about as strange as Jess is. This show is cute and fun! A great watch if you need something stress free or a bit of cheering up.

"The League"

4.5 Stars, 6 Seasons

This show stars a group of best friends and their fantasy league. And of course, like any good friends do, take every advantage to mess with each other.

"Royal Pains"

4.5 Stars, 6 Seasons

After being wrongly discredited in NYC, a diagnostic surgeon starts a concierge doctor business with his younger brother in the Hamptons and solves the many medical ailments of the rich and elite.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
