12 Things I Want At My Future Wedding

It is never too early to start planning for your future wedding. With all your friends starting to get engaged while you are still single can be a little frustrating but that just gives you time to figure what wacky things you want on your big day.

So here are some weird things that I want at my wedding because (to me) they are pretty hilarious and pretty sentimental.

1. Three Words: Mashed Potato Bar

Mashed potatoes are definitely one of the most comforting food dishes in the world. Though that I predict my wedding to be very stressful for me, I want everyone else to feel relaxed and full.

2. Childhood Photo Table Numbers

For each table, I want a picture of me and my future husband at the age of each table. So at table five, I would have a picture of each of us. This is memorable in the way that it will remind us and our family/friends where we have been and where we plan to go.

3. An epic but cute first dance as husband and wife

Who doesn't love couples dancing to a really cheesy song? We are celebrating!

4. A Polaroid camera to capture drunken antics

This is just a way to remember what happened to the night of nights when everyone forgets. This is supposed to be telling a story and I can't wait to reread it over and over agan.

5. Open bar...but with a twist

So every time you go to the bar for another drink, you either have to write down or record yourself giving the bride and groom something to do. Sort of like a bucket list!

6. A 1920s playlist

Everyone loves a good throwback. But let's bring it wayyy back so we can all do a group Charleston dance.

7. My bridesmaids and groomsmen doing a dance to Forever by Chris Brown

I just really love The Office...a lot.

8. Someone to live tweet my whole wedding

This the only event that should be on everyone's timeline. Hashtag it up.

9. Have really epic wedding photos.

10. Have a build your own cupcake bar

Need I say more?

11. Crafting for the kids

Just so the kids don't have to watch me drunkenly twerk, they can show their creative side and work on some arts and crafts.

12. A weird but awesome guy who cries like a punk when he sees me walking down the aisle

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
