There are dozens of things people do to get out of slumps they might be in. My favorite happens to be watching a good movie. Actually, I watch movies all the time -- whether or not I'm in a slump. Anyway, if you ever happen to be stuck on what to watch I picked out a few of my favorites that you can check out.

1. "Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging"

Georgia Nicolson is perfectly portrayed as a typical 14-year-old girl living the ups and downs of surviving her family – including her crazy cat Angus – insane wardrobe mishaps, and the art of a good snog.

2. "Cheaper by the Dozen"/"Cheaper by the Dozen 2"

Twelve kids, two parents, one dog and a whole lot of fun – and that’s just the first one. Add eight more kids and two more parents to that mix for movie number two.

3. "Clueless"

This movie has its sights set on being fun from beginning to end. Nailed it! Nineties' fashion, a young Paul Rudd, and popular high school students you probably used to live vicariously through. This movie never gets old and it’s on Netflix

.

4. "Elf"

Christmas or not, everyone has seen this movie and there are no qualms about watching it a dozen times whenever you need a good laugh. I can’t be the only one who rewinds it to watch Will Ferrell get hit by the taxi again and again.

5. "The Great Gatsby"

Sure, there are a few deaths, I’ll give you that. On the contrary there is a killer soundtrack, flawless costumes and Leonardo DiCaprio. Can you really get any better than that?

6. "Hocus Pocus"

Much like "Elf," you don’t have to wait until the recommended holiday to watch this film – especially considering it’s on ABC Family at least once a month. It’s totally quotable too.

7. "Matilda"

Every single time you watch this movie you wish you had powers like Matilda. Don’t lie to me because I know it’s true. The parents are a riot, the brother is insane, and don’t get me started on her elementary school. Putting a newt in the principal’s water? Genius!

8. "Ramona and Beezus"

Talk about a heartwarming pick-me-up. This movie gets me every single time, and I know people in just about every age group who love it. Selena Gomez is charming, and Joey King is such a scene stealer.

9. "She's the Man"

Basically Amanda Bynes goes undercover as her brother to prove that girls can play soccer as well as guys and she ends up dating Channing Tatum in the end. We all know who won here.

10. "That Awkward Moment"

Anyone from the ages of 18 to 29 can probably relate to the life and times of Jason, Mikey and Daniel as they manage New York City while trying to remain a wolf pack of single bros. They eventually all fail, but it’s rather heartwarming with a ton of comedic genius. Oh, and did I mention Zac Efron, Miles Teller and Michael B. Jordan are the leads?

11. "The Princess Diaries"/"The Princess Diaries 2"

Mia Thermopolis finds out she’s a princess, does a bunch of embarrassing things that makes the audience laugh for two whole movies, and then ends up with her Prince Charming. Yeah, you might think it’s cliché now, but watch it a few dozen times in a row and you’ll be hooked too.

12. Literally any movie musical

"High School Musical;" "High School Musical 2;" "High School Musical 3;" "Pitch Perfect"/"Pitch Perfect 2;" "Singin’ in the Rain;" "Hairspray;" "Mamma Mia;" etc., I think there’s just something about music mixed with the magic of movies that make it a real crowd pleaser.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
