11 Things To Thank Your Co-Workers For
The Huffington Post

Co-workers are the people who make work bearable and I am blessed enough to be able to work with some people who have become close friends to me. Here are just some of the many things we should all be thanking our co-workers for.

1. Thanks for listening to all of my rants about life or about unruly customers.

You're lying if you say that your job is perfect and you never come across people who piss you off at work or have those rude customers you have to deal with and co-workers are always there to listen to it all. They really do get it too because chances are they have had almost the same experience.

2. Thanks for helping me out when I need it.

Whether it's taking my shifts when i'm busy or sick or helping back me up with a customer, I can always count on my co-workers in all of my situations at work.

3. Thanks for making long shifts bearable.

Without my co-workers I would have already dropped dead from a long work shift. They know just how to make me smile and keep me company when i'm bored or about to rip my hair out at work.

4. Thanks for being good friends to me.

It's always nice to have people you spend a lot of your time with as people you relate to well and get along with!

5. Thanks for making me laugh when i'm having a bad day and working is the last thing I want to be doing.

My co-workers always know how to make me smile and can make work not so bad once i'm there.

6. Thanks for letting me gossip and not telling anybody.

Co-workers are people you can really trust and it's only a matter of time before you start telling your co-workers your personal life struggles and they don't judge you for it.

7. Thanks for listening to all of my complaining and not getting annoyed.

Because I complain a lot...about how tired I am or how much I want to be doing something else and I guarantee it's annoying but my co-workers let it slide.

8. Thanks for being so understanding when I mess up.

Because it happens all the time but my co-workers are always there to help me clean up my messes and never get upset with me.

9. Thanks for standing up for me.

Whether it be a crazy customer or anyone else, i'm so lucky to have such good people on my side for things.

10. Thanks for making me feel like apart of the family.

Because we are kind of like one big family!

And most importantly...

11. Thanks for being great co-workers.

I wouldn't trade them for the world and work just wouldn't be the same without them.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
