Many people (especially in their early adult years) suffer from insomnia in some way or another. Some people don't go to bed until 4 or 5 a.m. Some people don't sleep at all. Some are even nocturnal, depending on their schedules. It's not a fun lifestyle to live, but once you get used to it, it's doable. The following are things that insomniacs know all too well.
1. Being awake when everyone else is asleep.
2. Never waking up on time.
3. And when you finally do wake up you just want to lay in bed.
4. Getting four hours of sleep, on a good night.
5. Trying everything in the book to cure your insomnia.
6. Laying in bed for hours on end, wide awake.
7. Being grumpy all day.
8. Having no energy to look nice for the day.
9. Not being able to fall asleep when spending the night anywhere.
10. Having nonexistent dreams.
11. Even watching TV is exhausting, but not enough to actually sleep.
Dealing with insomnia isn't a fun thing, but at least there are other people out there that understand what you're going through.
