This past year, I became good friends with a pretty amazing group of people. They have made my senior year of high school so memorable, and I would like to formally thank them for that. To all of my friends, thank you for being you and helping me be me. I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to spend high school with.
1. Thank you for being so much fun every day.
There is never a dull moment with you. We have endless memories together, because every moment is exciting. I have never met a more fun group of people in my life.
2. Thank you for always making me laugh.
This is pretty self explanatory, but humor is one of the most important things to me. You are all hilarious and so quick-witted, I am proud to call you my best friends.
3. Thank you for putting up with my lame jokes (and even laughing at some).
Even though my sense of humor is almost exclusively puns, you all make me feel like I'm actually funny sometimes. Thanks for laughing at my jokes and encouraging me to make even more.
4. Thank you for making me feel like I belong.
Before I met you all, I never felt like I had a place or a group that I belonged in. Now, I love the close and comfortable friendship we all have. There is nothing better than taking group naps with your best friends.
5. Thank you for being my second family.
Sometimes, I like you guys even more than my real family (sorry mom). I love knowing that I have friends that would be there for me no matter what, and I love that we all have each others backs.
6. Thank you for breaking me out of my shell.
I used to be extremely shy and introverted, but being part of such a fun and outgoing group of people has really helped me become more social. Thanks for taking me to school events I wouldn't have ever gone to alone, and for always wanting to try new and exciting things together.
7. Thank you for encouraging me to be a better person.
You all inspire me way more than you know. Thank you for giving great advice and encouraging others to be better. I am so proud of each of you.
8. Thank you for being so supportive.
I love that you always want to go support our school at games and events, and want to support each other at events as well. I love the posters that we all make and how loud we cheer for each other.
9. Thank you for always picking me up when I'm down.
I am so lucky to have a solid group of people I can rely on whenever something is wrong. You guys always listen to me and do your best to help me through anything I'm going through. It feels amazing to have such a solid support system.
10. Thank you for always being honest with me.
I know that I can count on you guys to tell me if I look bad or if I'm doing something wrong. I trust and value all of your opinions so much.
11. Thank you for making my senior year so memorable.
When I look back at my high school experience, the most unforgettable part will be my senior year with my amazing friends. I am so sad to be going our separate ways in a few months, but I can't wait to see all the incredible things you guys accomplish.
