Picking a major is probably one of the hardest decisions we have to make in life. It truly determines our life path and future career. It's hard to chose a major when you have no idea what you're getting into.

Some of us change our majors once or twice, but one we find the right one there's no turning back.

1. You don't even think about any other majors

The idea of any other career path never crossed your mind. Your major is the only one that exists.

2. You actually enjoy going to class

If your major is the right fit, you'll enjoy most of the things you're learning about. It makes college a lot of fun and much easier.

3. Your hard classes don't bother you too much

Everyone has to take some more difficult classes, but if you like your major focused classes, it balances out.

4. You LOVE talking about your major to anyone and everyone

When someone asks "So, what's your major?" they're stuck talking to you forever.

5. You can't stop looking for jobs within your career field

LinkedIn and any job posting website are your most frequently visited sites. Career fairs are more fun for you than they are stressful.

6. You hated high school, but you love college

High school was the worst, but your major is such a perfect fit you can't imagine hating school now.

7. You're involved in every major related club possible

You attend every club callout within your major and jump on any involvement opportunity possible.

8. You already have a part-time job in your field

You can't wait for graduation to start working, so you started your journey a little early.

9. You wouldn't mind graduating late

Classes are so fun and you love your friends you've made within your school you could stay forever.

10. You've made friends with your professors

Your professors are your idols and you can't wait to experience the things they have.

11. You look forward to your advising appointments

You're ready to schedule classes for the next semester before it's even close to registration time. You love any opportunity you get to look ahead and see what's next.

If you find your passion college will be a blast. Once you find the perfect fit for you and your future you're set for success. When you forget that other majors are even a thing, you know you're in the right place.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
