After the heat of summer, it's no wonder we're all eagerly anticipating the new season. Here are the top eleven other reasons why you should look forward to Fall!

1. Fall fashion

You know you are excited to whip out your scarves, boots, flannels, and thick socks!

2. Halloween

Enjoy this poor quality picture of my friend and I dressed as Batman and the Riddler for Halloween.

3. All your favorite shows come back on

Except Game of Thrones. We still have to wait for that one for a while.

4.Football

NFL, college football, you name it!

5. The leaves change

Is there anything prettier?

6. Pumpkin spice... everything

Make fun of it all you want, you know you want some pumpkin spice in your life

7. Thanksgiving

My mouth is watering already.

8. You can exercise without dying of heat stroke

HA yeah, like I exercise.

9. Outdoor activities

I live for picnics, pumpkin picking, and bonfires.

10. CUDDLING

Getting cozy with your significant other, or maybe even a friend or a pet, is easily one of my favorite things to do in the colder weather.

11. The new semester

Whether its college or high school, the fall brings a new school year. And with that comes new professors, new friends, new goals, and a new you! Take advantage of the change in a season and make a change in yourself.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
