We are Boston Strong for a reason.

There's so many reasons to love Boston. So I narrowed it down to 11:

1. The city is built on history.

Just take a walk along The Freedom Trail.

2. There's plenty of places to shop.

Between Newbury Street and Copley Place, there's something for everyone.

3. The North End has all the Italian food you could ever want.

Could a person ever need more Italian dessert when there's Modern Pastry and Mike's Pastry on the same street?

4. There's a museum for everyone, with options including The Museum of Science, Museum of Fine Arts, The Boston Children's Museum, just to name a few.

Some museums even offer student discounts!

5. Quincy Market has a food option for everyone.

From Italian food to desserts to seafood, everyone will be happy eating here.

6. The Boston Harbor is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city streets.

Sit by the harbor for a little relaxation and peace of mind.

7. Although everyone complains about public transportation in the city, it really is convenient.

The T may always seem to run late, but it's still so useful to get from point a to point b without a car. Uber is also making the city more convenient.

8. The Boston Common and Boston Public Garden are the perfect places for a breath of fresh air.

What could be better than fresh flowers, a dog park and ducks?!

9. The city takes pride in their sports teams including the Red Sox, Bruins, Patriots and Celtics.

It doesn't hurt that they have plenty of Championships.

10. Patriot's Day isn't just another holiday, it's Marathon Monday.

The city basically shuts down to cheer on all the runners.

11. When tragedy struck the city, Boston came back stronger than ever.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
