There is a whole wide world of games that have yet to be discovered by many. Sure, everyone hears about the big games that rack up tons of hype, but there are plenty of games that go unnoticed. I have a list of 11 of those games that more people should be playing, not listed in any particular order.

11. Board Game Online

Board Game Online is a free-to-play browser game that combines board game and role playing elements. It can be played with friends or strangers, you can play on a team or individually, there are many modes to explore and try out, it's a game of chaos and fun. There are so many random moments and there are many pop culture references that will give you a good laugh. Plus, there's a jukebox playing music from YouTube in the top left corner during games. The songs are picked by the player whose turn it is when the current song ends.

10. Project X Zone

Project X Zone and Project X Zone 2 are basically the fanfiction of games. It pulls multiple different characters from not only different games, but also different companies and puts them into one universe to interact and save all of the worlds. It pulls characters from Devil May Cry to Street Fighter. It's a turn-based strategy game for the 3DS and worth every penny.

9. 100% Orange Juice

100% Orange Juice is an anime style board game on Steam. It moves really quickly, so it may take a bit of time to get used to, but it is insanely fun once you get it. There are many cute little characters to pick from, more so if you buy the DLC packs, and they each have different stats and abilities. The board game is played using virtual dice and ability cards, which you use to move around the board, lay traps and fight other players. It's cute, strange and definitely worth checking out.

8. Risk of Rain

Risk of Rain is an indie game on Steam. It's an action platformer with rogue-like elements. The game is made to be best played with friends, but it is possible to complete on your own. It's not easy, though. The game is made to be insanely difficult, as no matter what mode you pick, the difficulty raises every few minutes. Permanent death is also a feature. If you die, you have to start back at the very beginning. There are no saves. It's a hard game to master, but if you love a challenge, I highly recommend Risk of Rain.

7. Yo-Kai Watch

Yo-Kai Watch is a unique Pokemon "clone" for the 3DS that centers around a young boy/girl who finds and befriends Yo-Kai, which are essentially demons, and uses them to fight evil Yo-Kai that are terrorizing people. The battles always contain six Yo-Kai, which you can change around and try to organize to create the ultimate team. Only three can be on the field at a time, but they are easily rotated around by using the bottom screen. The game is very well done and is very original.

6. Amnesia: Memories

Amnesia is a visual novel where you play as a young girl who has lost her memories and forced to live in a universe that may not even be her own, with zero memories as to who she is and any details about her life. Each route/parallel world focuses on one of four boys who are represented by one of the four card suits: heart, diamond, spade, and club. The art style is fantastic, the characters are very interesting and all the routes are written very well. If visual novels are your thing, this one is a must play. If visual novels aren't really your preferred type of game, well there's an anime for this game as well.

5. BattleBlock Theater

BattleBlock Theater is a hilarious platformer that is recommended to play with another person. While it's not impossible by yourself, it's a lot harder. In the game, you play as simple little people with weird shaped heads and play through stages where you're constantly being harassed by cats and the cruel environment. Eventually you can challenge Hatty, a former friend of everyone who was aboard the S.S. Friendship and is now evil. It's a really difficult game and totally recommended to anyone who has a friend and is looking for a challenge.

4. The Royal Trap: The Confines Of The Crown

The Royal Trap is a medieval visual novel that follows Madeleine Valois, a prince's companion whose duty is to keep him safe, keep his reputation in check and to not let him walk blindly into a political minefield. Madeleine and her prince, Oscar, travel to a new kingdom in hopes that Oscar will be able to get their princess to fall in love and marry him. Madeleine finds herself in major trouble, though, as accusations of crimes she did not commit get her placed in the dungeons, where she then has to hope that someone will come and help her. Whoever you pick becomes the route that the rest of the game takes. The game has a very pretty art style and an awesome intro.

3. Town of Salem

Town of Salem is a browser game, but there is also a steam version available. In this game, you can play with friends and/or strangers in a small town. Every person in the game is assigned a job and has to fulfill the requirements set for that job in order to win. For some roles all you need to do is survive, but for others you need to kill all who oppose you. It's a very random game and you don't always get the most fun people to play with, but if the cards are set just right this game can be hilarious and a lot of fun.

2. Game Dev Tycoon

Game Dev Tycoon is a tycoon game where you play as an up-and-coming game developer at a time where PC gaming was just becoming a thing. You play throughout the ages of game development, from old bulky desktop computers to the NES to the PlayStation and so on. The goal of the game is to become one of the best game developers and make millions.

1. Conception II

Conception II is a 3DS dungeon RPG with an anime style and turn-based battles. The stories from the first game and this one are unrelated, so you can play either without having to play the other. In the game, players control a high school student whose school is also a training facility for demon hunters. The protagonist has an extremely high amount of ether in his body, which allows him to conceive Star Children to fight demons by 'classmating' with his other classmates. During battle, fighters can be strategically placed around the enemies, allowing players to either safely target weak points or charge head on for bigger rewards. The girls are well written and a lot of fun to interact with. They all feel important and make the player want to go through all their side stories. It's a fun 3DS game that I highly recommend if you have the money to buy it.

There are a lot of games out there and I hope that reading this helped you come up with some new games to play in the future. I recommend all of the games listed and have sunk in more hours than I would like to admit playing them. Happy playing!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
