What is a "cult classic"? A cult classic, or "cult film," is a movie that has received a cult following. They often fail at the box office but gain popularity later on. They are also highly quotable. Although cult classics may not always be the most mainstream option, they usually make for an interesting evening. Instead of snuggling up to a chick flick or an action thriller, why not try one of these campy, but highly entertaining films!

1. "The Princess Bride" (1987)

This movie is at the top of the list because it's inconceivable! If you haven't seen the movie, you won't get that reference. If you haven't seen the movie - well, that's just inconceivable! It is impossible to dislike this movie. It has romance, action, revenge, intrigue and comedy!

"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."

2. "The Breakfast Club" (1985)

A brain, an athlete, a basket case, a princess and a criminal; aka, Anthony Michael Hall, Emilio Estevez, Ally Sheedy, Molly Ringwald, and Judd Nelson. Who doesn't love to spend a Saturday at school?

"Does Barry Manilow know that you raid his wardrobe?"

3. "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" (1975)

"Monty Python and the Holy Grail," "Monty Python's The Meaning of Life," "Monty Python's Life of Brian"; there's nothing to say other than watch it. You'll laugh your tail off!

"'Tis but a scratch."

4. "Halloween" (1978)

You might not want to watch this one at night by yourself. The production cost of this movie was only $325,000, yet it changed the perspective of the scary movie genre! This revolutionary horror film will scare your socks off!

"It's Halloween. Everyone's entitled one good scare."

5. "Tremors" (1990)

Kevin Bacon, Fred Ward, and Reba Mcentire fight a giant worm. 'Nuff said.

"Run for it? Running's not a plan! Running's what you do when a plan fails!"

6. "The Goonies" (1985)

"National Treasure" meets "The Little Rascals."

"Sloth loves Chunk!"

7. "Good Burger" (1997)

This movie will make you hungry...for more cheesy humor!

"Welcome to the Good Burger, home of the Good Burger, can I take your order?"

8. "The Lost Boys" (1987)

This movie came out before vampires were cool. Also, young Kiefer Sutherland? I think yes! This is the second movie on this list starring Corey Feldman!

"Death by Stereo!"

9. "Labyrinth" (1986)

David Bowie sings and dances with a bunch of goblins after stealing a baby. It's weirder than it sounds.

"Dance Magic, Dance // Dance Magic, Dance // Dance Magic, Dance"

10. "Night of the Living Dead" (1968)

The original zombie movie - in black and white!

"They're coming to get you, Barbara. There's one of them now!"

Last but not least...

11. "The Warriors" (1979)

This cult classic is my personal favorite. Follow the Warriors, a gang from Coney Island, as they fight their way back home after being framed for an assassination that they didn't commit!

"Warriors! Come out and play-i-ay!"

Bonus Movies: "Highlander" (1986) and "Ghostbusters" (1984)

In case some of these movies didn't fit your fancy, here are two bonus cult films to add to your repertoire. "Highlander" combines the old and the modern in this exciting action fantasy film! "Ghostbusters," featuring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Harold Ramis, is about a group of ghost exterminators. In 2016, an all female cast remake will be coming to theaters near you!!!

"Who you gonna call? Ghosbusters!"
"In the end, there can only be one!"

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
