I have been in a bad mood these past two weeks with exams and stress from my classes. It has been difficult to maintain a positive energy, and I figure if one thing keeps ruining my days I know there are far more positives to direct my energy towards. As a way to keep myself sane and put myself in a positive mindset, I have thought of 101 different things that make me happy. It shows that there are far more positives than the few negatives in my life. I will gear my energy towards and focus on the positives more than the few that bring my mood down. Try to make a list of your own and it will help you see that you should not worry about a few negatives.

1. A warm bed with plenty of blankets.

2. A roof over my head.

3. My loving dog.

4. My parents.

5. Having a job.

6. Opportunity to go to college.

7. Being able to buy food when I'm hungry.

8. Having a fridge full of options.

9. Having a working phone.

10. Able to watch Netflix and relax.

11. Having a sister (even if she is a pain).

12. Getting a paycheck every other week.

13. Being able to drive where ever I want.

14. The ability to eat all kinds of foods without worrying about food allergies.

15. Having people that care about me in my life.

16. Making others smile.

17. Being able to sleep in on some days.

20. Being able to go on runs and exercise.

22. Being able to treat myself to something nice every now and then.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
