Summer is the season you look forward to, to kick back and relax. But some days you may find yourself bored with nothing to do. Here’s a list that might help cure your summer boredom and help you think of your own fun ways to make the most of your break from school.
1. Summer Playlists

Whether you're driving around in your car or hanging outside with friends, a good summer playlist helps boost your mood and others.
2. Concerts/Festivals
Now, I'm not talkin' Coachella or anything extravagant, I know budgets can be tight. A local concert or festival (food, music, etc.) could be a cheap and fun getaway for a day with friends or a significant other.
3. Try new foods!
Adventure around your town/city for a new restaurant that you haven't tried yet, It could turn into a weekly trip! Or look online for recipes to try with friends at home.
4. Camping

Camping is as adventurous as it gets, whether you're tenting out at a local camp grounds or going in on a cabin with friends. Look at your local park's websites for deals on cabins and camp sites!
5. Jobs
I know it doesn't sound fun, but a summer job can have it's advantages (trying not to sound like my mom here). It keeps you busy and you'll end up having a lot of money to spend on fun summer adventures. Summer is a great time for outdoor jobs like camp counselor, lifeguard, etc!
6. Find a good book
I know you just got finished with school, but summer reading is more relaxing than it sounds. Get lost in a good book as you lay outside and enjoy the sun.
7. DIY Projects
If you find yourself bored on a not-so-sunny day, you could occupy yourself with a DIY crafting day. Whether it's for your dorm, apartment, or a friend, crafting can be fun, even for the not-so-creative types.
8. Find a Hobby
It could be running, taking music lessons, baking, etc. A hobby is a great way to keep yourself busy this summer while also learning a thing or two.
9. Start a new show on Netflix

I know Netflix binging isn't the most ideal summer activity, but since you're not stressing about school it is a good time to catch up on your favorite shows. Trust me, no one will judge you for staying in one day and binge-watching a new show with some friends.
10. MAKE MEMORIES
Summer is a time to be stress-free. With no school-work weighing you down, you have more time to enjoy the activities you couldn't fit in during the school year. Make you own summer list and start making some memories.
