With summer just around the corner, I've recently developed a penchant for discovering Instagram accounts devoted to documenting healthy lifestyles. These vegan bloggers consistently post the yummiest looking plant-based recipes, while also sharing snaps from their daily lives. Here are my picks for the top 10 vegan Instagram accounts to follow for some healthy inspiration.

1. @lonijane

Loni Jane, the 27-year-old author of the e-book "Feel the Lean," is a self-professed "earthling, mother, photographer and creative artist from Queensland, Australia." Between daily snaps of delicious plant-based recipes and her two adorable children, her feed is consistently bright and cheerful.

2. @ellagracedenton

Founder of the website "We Need to Live More," Ella's Instagram consists of recipes, motivational quotes and animal-rights posts that emphasize her vegan lifestyle.

3. @earthyandy

Andrea, who lives with her two sons and husband on the North Shore of Oahu, documents her healthy lifestyle on her blog "earthyandy." You can expect posts full of vibrant colors and tons of yummy recipes.

4. @leefromamerica

Lee Tilghman, founder of the blog "Lee Tilghman," is a recipe developer and food-based stylist who comes from a long line of chefs. She posts tons of colorful, nutritious, plant-based recipes that certainly beg to be photographed.

5. @ellenfisher

In addition to being the mother of the two cutest boys I've ever seen, Ellen runs the blog "Mango Island Mamma" and is the author of an e-book under the same name. Besides posting pictures of her cute sons, Ellen shares tons of delicious recipes and discusses what it's like raising her children vegan.

6. @bonnyrebecca

Bonny, author of the e-book "Carbolicious," is a 23-year-old living in Sydney, Australia. In addition to snapping pictures of yummy vegan meals, her feed is also full of photos of her family, friends and the beach.

7. @flourishinghealth

Tilda is 19 and from Stockholm, Sweden. She runs the blog "flourishing-health" and takes some of the best food pictures I've seen.

8. @ohsheglows

Angela Liddon is the founder of the award-winning recipe blog "Oh She Glows," and is author of the New York Times best-seller, "Oh She Glows Cookbook." She's been sharing her "energizing, plant-based recipes" for six years, so she definitely knows her stuff.

9. @raw_manda

Amanda, who lives in Los Angeles, California, runs the blog "Raw Manda" and is the author of the e-book "Sweet Abundance." Her Instagram feed is filled with tons of colorful recipes that will inspire you to put down the bag of chips and pick up something healthy.

10. @em_carey

Perhaps my favorite on this list is Emma Carey, a 23-year-old Australian who recently co-authored her first vegan cookbook, "The Uncompromising Vegan," with her sister and boyfriend. Not only does Emma post photos of her adorable niece (seriously, she is so freaking cute), but she tells the tale of her journey as a walking paraplegic, who—as a result of a freak sky-diving accident—can no longer feel the back of her legs or her feet.

Follow these accounts to brighten up your Insta-feed and encourage a healthy lifestyle!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
