"Halloween is the one night a year when a girl can dress like a total slut and no other girls can say anything about it"

We all know those completely unoriginal people who dress up in the same thing every year, and if you don't ...

Here's a list of the top 10 most TYPICAL and OVER DONE Halloween Costumes.

10. The Group Costumes.

Because as we all know, finding your own costume is so hard. There are these dreaded group costumes. Just two examples of the most typical, overdone ones. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Three Blind Mice.

9. Minnie Mouse

If there isn't a Minnie Mouse at your Halloween party, is it even a Halloween party? This costume is #9 on our most typical list because the costume will NEVER die.

8. "The Great Gatsby"

Number 8 is "The Great Gatsby" aka you and your friends dress up like flappers from the 20s. So overdone, have you even read the book? Pshhhhh.

7. Wonder Women, or any superhero for that matter ...

OK, the family ones are cute ... but can we all admit it? They're WAY over done.

6. Minions

Cute for your kids, creepy for adults. Let's all just agree not to dress up like little yellow creatures.

5. The Nurse

Yes, we know you're a nursing student. So does that mean it's technically not a costume?

4. Greek God / Goddess

This costume is definitely easy, just throw on a sheet. It's a good way to convince your boyfriend/girlfriend to be matchy-matchy with you. However, it should be saved exclusively for toga parties.

3. Risky Business

Once again, though this costume is easy to come by. You probably shouldn't dress up like Tom Cruise if you haven't seen the classic 80s film. Sorry, NOT sorry. OVER DONE!

2. The Frat Boy.

I'm sure at one point in time, dressing up like a frat boy was funny and original, but if you've managed to go to a Halloween party and not see AT LEAST six girl's dressed up like Frat Boys, then you are a lucky lucky duck.

1. A CAT

Whether they're a kitten, a tiger, a leopard or cat woman, this costume is forever the most typical costume you will ever find. That being said, it's also a great, easy costume that's cute, cheap and usually pretty comfortable. So, before you going bashing the next cat you see, think about how hard it was to put together your gum ball machine costume ...

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
