  1. Everyone thinks you're a couple.
NO. GIRLS AND GUYS CAN BE JUST FRIENDS!!
  2. People assume one of you has a thing for the other.
No. He's not really my type, you know, being a boy and all. I'm not really his type either, you know, with not being attracted to guys and all.
  3. You two are always honest with each other."Yes, if you want to never be within 100 feet of a school ever again."
  4. "I would look that bad?"
    "Yep, that bad."
  5. You're each others wing(wo)man.
  6. Your relationships get thoroughly talked about.
Almost any time I need relationship advice I go to him. Whether it's been a break-up or having a crush on our bosses daughter, he stays up all night letting me blab about it and never complains.
  7. You both eat way more around each other.
Pizza nights for us means one whole pizza for each of us, a 2-liter bottle of coke, and molten chocolate cake to share. Sometimes we're still hungry after that.
  8. You can completely be yourself around them
This means embarrassing corn dog eating contests, but no pictures because let's try and keep this PG.
  9. They will never let you settle for anything less than you deserve.
Last year when I went through a break-up, he helped me to realize that if she was going to treat me like she did, then I deserved someone who was going to truly love me.
  10. They are your number one supporter.
Whether it's getting a new job, buying your first car, or starting a new trade, they are always there to cheer you on.
  11. You two are more like family and you will bicker like it .

We argue on a daily basis. We will be angry at each other for few minutes and then we find a funny picture and start laughing again.

My best friend is a guy and I will never apologize for it. He has always been there for me and I for him. Thank you for never running from our relationship even when things got hard.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
