What college student doesn't love Spring Break. Personally I've been counting down the days until break since like the second week of classes. This year though I have nothing big planned, and I am completely okay with that. I plan to spend most of the week in my hometown and hang out with my dog (kidding kind of.) But here are 10 things to do if you're not going on vacay for Spring Break.
1) Hang out with your family
I only live an hour or so from my family so I see them pretty often but if you live faraway from yours spend some quality time with your parents or siblings.
2) Go on an overnight trip
If your friends from home have the same break schedule as you maybe try to get everyone together and go on a quick getaway somewhere not to far
3) Explore your city
Go see what new places have been added to where you live. Visit some local places or tourist attractions in your area.
4) Volunteer
Maybe the week your off you could see if any local food bank or animal shelter needs an extra hand for that week.
5) Work
If you have a job at home for when you're not at school maybe see if they need you to fill any hours the week of break.
6) Catch up on much needed rest
College is stressful and Spring Break is basically an excuse to relax being that you're not at college surrounded by the hundreds of things that need to be done
7) Hang out with your friends from home
I am still close with my group of friends from high school and if you are too hang out and do things with them.
8) Spend quality time with your family dog
I miss my dog so much when I'm at school and if you do as well then spend some much needed quality time with him or her.
9) Catch up on schoolwork
This is something I probably will not be doing. But if you need to catch up on 300 pages of reading or a huge paper that is due after break this is a good time to do it.
10) Deep clean your bedroom at home
Out with the old, in with the new. You may have a lot of time on your hands so use it wisely by cleaning your bedroom at home/
