10 Things To Do For Valentines Day

1.Breakfast in Bed

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but on Valentines day it is going to be just a little bit more meaningful. Wake your loved on up with some nice breakfast in bed. Make their favorites so they can not resist to the smell of eggs, bacon and a stack of chocolate chip pancakes in the morning.

2. Send your loved ones flowers

This does not mean just sending flowers to your boyfriend or girlfriend. You should take time out of your day to show your mom and even your grandmother why you love them so much. Sending flowers shows that you love.

3. Go out to eat

It does not have to be the most expensive and luxurious place around town. Just taking your loved one out to eat is a great way to show that you care and are trying hard. You can have a nice evening out and start conversation over the memories you have shared together.

4. Buy your loved one lots of sweets

Going out to get sweets does not necessarily mean that you have to get the most expensive box of chocolates on the shelve, most girls would be happy with Hershey kisses. Not everyone likes chocolates so you do not even have to go that route, I am sure there are many more candies and treats on the shelve.

5. Have a movie night at home

Movie nights are one of the best ideas that couples can do together on Valentine's Day. It is very inexpensive and you do not have to work about getting ready to go out for the night. You can sit back and relax at home with some popcorn and pizza. (Maybe even make a little fort).

6. Remind them why you love them

Another great way to show your loved one how much you really love them is actually telling them face to face how much you care. If you want to get even more gushy you can write it all down in a letter and give it to them during your special night.

7. Make a memory book of you two together

Pictures are a great way to remember all the good times that you have had together. Something as easy as printing out picture and making a collage it something that your loved one will remember far into the future. If you are all about the arts and crafts go to your local craft store and get a photo album and set it up with all your most memorable pictures.

8. Buy them something special

You do not have to have a handful of money to go out and show your loved one what Valentines Day is really about. Something as small as sweets, teddy bears, or take out food would be a great way of doing so.

9. Make them a nice dinner

Everyone knows that the most common thing to do on Valentines day is to get all dressed up and go to a fancy restaurant. For people on a budget, fanciness does not matter. The majority of people would be satisfied with going to your neighborhood Applebee's grill.

10.Spend the day "snuggling"

You could do the oldie but goodie way of just spending quality time with your lover, in bed with no worries of having to do anything the entire day. You can just sit back, relax, talk, watch tv, anything you want to do in bed.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
