1. An easy walk to class without the hills and stairs.
I wonder what it's like walking through campus without losing your breath after five minutes. Thank god we have the Mountie Express.
2. More flex dollars for Jazzman's and Einsteins.
Sometimes $200 isn't enough when a cafe is located in your dorm building. Plus, the soup in Jazzman's is a personal winter favorite.
3. Little to no snow.
I could definitely live without the two feet of snow each week until the middle of March. And the wind chills. And the below zero weather.
4. The Mountie Express to never breakdown.
It seems like either the phone app is frozen or the bus has some sort of engine problem at least once a week, but Kevin ends up saving the day no matter what.
5. An escalator up to Cardiac Hill.
Imagine? Maybe while walking my legs won't give out half way up.
6. No parking tickets.
I don't have $15 in my bank account to begin with, how am I suppose to pay for a parking ticket?
7. Freshman not to park in the upperclassman parking lots.
Yes it's a pain, but we've all had to park up at T2 our first year. When you're an upperclassman you'll understand how annoying it is when you can't find a parking spot on the weekdays.
8. The Hungry Monkey to be open again.
QUESADILLAS!
9. More than two bars in town.
Mark's Brother's Tavern Lounge and Changos are the place to be for the older student body, but that's it, unless you go to Yorkholo on trivia night. With the town being so small, it's not uncommon seeing your professor throwing back at beer or two.
10. Better cell phone connection.
This is truly a hit or miss situation. Your either a student who has great LTE coverage, or you could be like me who can't send an iMessage until connected to WiFi.
All jokes aside, I love being a Mountie and attending the university. I couldn't imagine making memories, crying over papers and exams, and spending four years of my life anywhere else. #LoveMU
