I am officially done with my freshman year of college at Denison University, woah. A few months ago, (which actually seems like lifetimes ago), I wrote about 16 Truths I Learned During My First Week at Denison University.

I thought I would share the knowledge I have acquired after completing my first two semesters there.

1. The Hill is a world of its own.

2. River Road Coffeehouse in Granville is the best place to study.

3. Professors are always there to help.

4. Denison Students are passionate and ready to change the world.

5. Three Tigers in Granville has the best tofu around.

6. Campus is beautiful during any time of year.

7. There are a million campus organizations to choose from.

8. The Gala is the classiest night of the year.

9. The Mac and Cheese at The Nest is a must-try.

It's very heartbreaking when you want some late night food at the nest and see the unfortunate "No Mac" sign on the board.

10. All the stairs and hills take some getting used to.

On the bright side, my calves have never looked better.

11. The library is packed on Sundays, AKA homework days.

12. It is smart to avoid Slayter's 1PM Lunch Rush

Unless waiting a half hour for a chicken avocado is your style, I would advise to plan your lunch around the rush hour.

13. The staff at Denison will brighten your day.

Shoutout to Lynn from Curtis, you're the bomb.

14. Parking is a hassle when your college is on a hill.

But having a car on campus is so worth it when you can make weekend trips to Columbus.

15. Cookie Sunkle is a real person!

Yes, all those emails you're getting are from a real person.

16. Adam Weinberg is the coolest dude.

17. Doobiepalooza is the best day of the year.

Denison's student run radio station, 91.1 WDUB hosts an annual music festival. I might be bias since I'm a Doobie DJ myself but...

18. There are many cool little spots to explore on campus.

My favorite spots? The Bandersnatch, The Cinema House, and the 4th Floor of Slayter

19. The Academics are very challenging but are equally rewarding.

20. I'm still not exactly sure what a Big Red is.

21. We know how to cut loose on the weekends.

Work hard, play hard, right?

22. Finals week is tough...

23. But the dogs at the de-stress fest help.

24. The people you meet here make all the stress worth it.

25. It's my home away from home.

I'm going to miss the hill this summer, bring on sophomore year!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
