10 Songs To Help Cheer You Up

Are you going through a hard time? Something upsetting you? Feel as though you aren't "good enough?" Below are 10 songs that have helped me through a lot of life's tough times.

1. Walk on the Water

"So what are you waiting for? What do you have to lose? Your insecurities, they try to alter you. You know you're made for more. So don't be afraid to move. Your faith is all it takes and you can walk on the water too."

2. Tell Your Heart to Beat Again

"Let every heartbreak, and every scar. Be a picture that reminds you. Who has carried you this far. 'Cause love sees farther than you ever could. In this moment heaven's working. Everything for your good."

3. Never Gone

"I'm still standing here. No I didn't disappear. Now the lights are on. See I was never gone. I let go of your hand, to help you understand. With you all along. Oh, I was never gone."

4. Alone

"Through the tears, through the pain comes a new day. Blown away still amazed You pursue me. Ain't no limit to the way You love."

5. The Proof of Your Love

"So let my life be the proof, the proof of Your love. Let my love look like You and what You're made of. How you lived, how You died. Love is sacrifice. So let my life be the proof, the proof of Your love."

6. How Can It Be

"Though I fall, You can make me new. From this death I will rise with You. Oh the grace reaching out for me. How can it be."

7. The Voice of Truth

"Out of all the voices calling out to me. I will choose to listen & believe the voice of truth."

8. Forever

"The ground began to shake. The stone was rolled away. His perfect love could not be overcome. Now death where is your sting? Our resurrected King. Has rendered you defeated."

9. Speak Life

"When the sun won't shine and you don't know why. Look into the eyes of the broken-hearted. Watch them come alive as soon as you speak hope. You speak love, you speak."

10. Thy Will

"I know you see me. I know you hear me, Lord. Your plans are for me. Goodness you have in store."

birthday party

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.

College Informations

Most of us have already started the spring semester, and for those of you who haven't started yet, you suck.

It seems like coming back from winter break wouldn't really be a break all things considered, since we all come back to school and pick up right where we left off. We know exactly what to expect, yet we're unprepared every single time.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

CSU

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
