10 Signs She Really Is Your Best Friend

A best friend is someone who is there no matter how far apart you are or how long you go without seeing each other. She's someone you can always depend on being there for you and caring about you no matter what. I've been apart from my best friends for months now, and being with them has shown me just how close our bonds are.

1. She knows about "that time you.."

"remember that time you..." honestly, this girl has enough to blackmail you.

2. With just one look she knows exactly what you're talking about

With a little bit of eye contact, you already know she's following you to "get something" from your car so you can talk about your company in private

3. Awkward silence doesn't exist

It's always comfortable.

4. She knows all of your insecurities without you having to vocalize them

5. She knows everything about "that asshole" you're still hung up on

And she hates him enough for the both of you.

6. No matter where you are or what your'e doing, you still have fun

The most boring "party" can be fun if she's with you.

7. You may have been apart for months, but in no time at all things are like they never changed

One hug later and you're talking as if you only saw each other yesterday.

8. She's always honest, even when it hurts

If you do something embarrassing, she WILL tell you, but it's for your own good.

9. She never fails to make you laugh

You'll be snort laughing in no time around her

10. She knows you better than you know yourself

And yet she's still willing to be around you, knowing just how much of a freak you can truly be.

Thank you to the Glasses Squad for being my best friends. Love you ladies.

XOXO

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
