1: Abundance of Support:
Over the years my sister has showed more support towards me then I probably have ever deserved. She is completely selfless and always goes out of her way to share an encouraging post on Facebook or send me an inspiring text when I’m nervous or having a rough day. She grounds me when I get to caught up in things and always reminds me of the important things in life. It’s the little things she does that shows me her ultimate support each and every day.
2: Shared Everything:
It is no secret that we share the same sense of style leading to shared clothes and makeup. Although she may be younger than I am she has taught me a considerable amount about makeup and even picked out clothes for me in some cases. Along with sharing clothes and makeup is secrets, I am grateful that I can confide in her whenever I need to and she can do the same with me. Our bond shares both physical and emotional values.
3: Best Food:
Let’s just say that I have asked my sister several times to live with me when I move out, to make me food. Of course I will end up gaining an abundance of weight due to the fact that she literally can cook or bake anything but she makes the best cupcakes and pies. I never turn down her cooking and love waking up to a delightful breakfast often times when she is home.
4: Talented Soul:
There is more to her than cooking, the list is long and incudes, guitar, singing, ceramics, drawing and any sort of decorating and designing. She really can do anything. As we both have grown I have watched her learn more and more about herself, growing from a shy quiet girl to a mysterious person that most would love to know more about. I envy the fact that she can do most anything her heart desires for it has not always been that easy for me.
5: My Best Friend:
It is easy to say that she has been my best friend, the one person who gets me and knows everything about me but will never leave me. Of course leaving me would be a hard task considering we live in the same house. I have found that having a friendship with my sister is easy, we don’t need to plan to hang out or do anything too strenuous for plans, watching a movie or singing easily pleases us.
6: Witty Wisdom:
Although she may be quiet she has possibly the best sense of humor, coming out with jokes when they are least expected. She may make light of some situations but always knows when a bit of her advice or wisdom is needed and never fails to offer it when it is needed most. At such a young age she shows a level or maturity that surpasses mine as her older sibling.
7: Dedicated:
When it comes to her job and her family she is the most dedicated person I have ever met. She has blessed everyone’s lives that she has entered and I dare say that they would all agree that she is a pleasure to get to know.
8: Creative:
She never fails to come up with something to do on a rainy day or when we get bore. She is a busy body and always has something creative up her sleeve. Some of her ideas may be crazy but in the end whether the initial thought was good or bad we make the most of her ideas. Her creative abilities bring an extra level of fun to our family.
9: Fun:
There is never a bad moment spent with my sister, sure we argue but we are quick to get over it and move on. I love having a sister who shares the same interests with me. I will never be alone when I want to go to the movies, get my nails done or have someone to go shopping with. She is always up for an adventure.
10: Girl with a plan:
This year more than any other I am so proud of how much she has grown. Taking college classes isn’t an easy thing to do but she did it with no sweat. She never fails to amaze me with just how much she can do. I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for her because I know whatever it is she will continue to amaze me. My sister will never truly know just how much I appreciate her being a huge part of my life.
