10 Reasons Siberian Huskies Are The Best Dogs

1. Huskies reduce stress.

Huskies have been shown to decrease the risk of heart disease because they motivate people to get outside and take walks. Also the emotional bond owners feel towards their pets reduces their reaction to stress and lowers their heart rate.

2. Huskies Love To Have A Job!

Going along with number one on this list, Sibs (Siberian Huskies) love to have something to do. They are perfect for anyone who loves to be in the outdoors. They love to swim, pull sleds, scooters, bikes...etc. Which increases your physical activities/health and gives your energetic sib some exercise and peace of mind.

3. Huskies Are Very Close To Their Humans:

Huskies derive comfort, security, and motivation from their humans. They are very "pack" driven and love to be with people they consider their "pack."

4. They Comfort You:

Huskies are natural drawn to comfort you when you're sad. They notice your behaviors and well try to comfort you when they see you're in destress. They will even go so far to try to comfort strangers and babies crying (youtube huskies comforting babies, you wont regret it).

5. They Understand You:

Although sibs don't understand speech but studies have prove that they do respond to key words and and voice tones. It has also been proven that they study human interactions and learn how to respond to us.

6. They Tell Us a Lot If We Pay Enough Attention:

Huskies are very expressive and can tell us a lot if we pay enough attention to them. They use many different facial expressions, ear positions, and tail positions to tell us how they are feeling, if they are understanding us, and understanding what we want them to do, but are going to pretend to ignore you and do their own thing anyway.

7. They Talk:

Sibs very rarely bark but they do love to howl and enjoy talk to you in their own way.

8. "Hi, Stranger!"

Sibs are horrible guard dogs. They are more likely to show intruders where your valuables are and then roll over for a belly scratch.

9. They Defy The Laws Of Nature:

Whether or not its climbing a dog proof fence, digging a cave underneath your driveway, chewing up your entire car seat, scaling a tree, or sitting on top of a fence, when a sib makes up its mind to do something they will somehow always find a way to do it.

10. You'll Never Want Another Dog:

Siberian Huskies are very loyal to their owners. They have their one special person and they will love their human forever. Lastly, like I said, if you pay enough attention to them, you'll know that they truly do love everything you do for them.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
