College friends are with you practically 24/7 throughout your whole entire time that you're there. You do everything together, eat, shop, travel, study, etc. They are your lifeline while you are in college and give you support no matter what. 1. They're willing to go get food with you no matter what time of day it is
Whether it be for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or late night snack run, they are always up for getting some delicious food at the dining hall or local restaurant even if it is almost 3am.
2. You have the best group chat ever that you don't have with anyone else
The infamous group chat is named something only you all will understand and includes inside jokes, who is annoying you in class at the moment, the latest gossip, and that roommate you just can't stand.
3. You and your college friends get together every week to watch your favorite shows
You know that you have that specific day and time you get together in one of your dorms and watch that TV show everyone is in love with. The popcorn is being made, the pizza is getting ordered, and you're ready to watch the new season of Grey's Anatomy at 8pm.
4. They understand your stress about classes because they go to the same school
No one knows more about the stress of your classes than your college friends. You can't just talk about the work load with any other friends because theirs might be different so you talk to your friends at college. They don't judge when you are ranting about a five page paper that's due in a day and the teacher just told you about it today. Since you live super close to your friends, you can borrow each others clothes if needed. Sometimes you don't even have to ask and you just take that shirt you have been eye balling for literally weeks now. Your friends don't care because if you don't return it, they know where you live.
9. You can plan weekend road trips and adventures
If you are all bored and aren't going home for the weekend, you can plan a weekend road trip across the state to explore new places with your new friends.

You are with them mostly from the time you wake up till the time you go to bed so you definitely get to know everything about them. They give you the best advice about everything and if you need anything, they won't hesitate to shoot you a text or knock on your door.
