It's now October, and the weather is starting to change. With this, the transformation of one's clothes. No one shorts, tanks, or flip flops. Instead, we are changing to new, warmer outfits. We will wear these on pumpkin picking, hayrides, and to town fairs. As teens, we need to be ready for when we need to look cute. These ten items will be necessary to improving one's look, as they are needed for this new, cooler season.

#10: Bomber Jackets

I recently just bought one of these, and I have to say it's super comfy. I love wearing this jacket over dresses, or over my overalls. It takes any outfit to the top, and warms you up while you're looking cute.

#9: Infinity Scarf

Every teen I know wears this. It's a typical scarf, but it's one piece. It makes life so much easier when you don't have to make sure your scarf isn't falling off. They come in all different colors, so you can match it with any outfit. This will be especially needed when it turns to winter.

#8: Ripped Jeans

I always have these on hand. Ripped jeans are casual, yet look good no matter where you wear them. I usually pair this with a cute shirt and long sweater, creating a really cute fall look. These are available anywhere you go.

#7: Knee-High Boots

You're not going to want to wear sandals in the fall. Knee-high boots pair perfectly with leggings and an infinity scarf. They come in many options, brown, black, and leather. You don't have to worry about getting you're feet stuck in the mud, or hay coming into your shoes.

#6: Overalls

Okay, truthfully, I never have worn overalls before. They used to be really popular, but then they went away. I recently went shopping, and they have been rejuvenated. I had to buy a pair, and I must admit they're super cute with booties.

#5: Plaid Shirt

These are a classic. Everyone wears them. These shirts are good on their own, or under a cardigan. They add a pop of color to any dark wardrobe. Many are flannel, so that makes them even better.

#4: Oversized Sweater

Every girl's favorite thing to wear, these sweaters make you feel super cozy. They go nice over any shirt, and are usually paired with jeans. It is better to wear this once it gets colder out, however.

#3: Leggings

I wear leggings in every season, but especially in fall. Black colored leggings go with everything. You can wear them with boots, or just with slippers and a big sweatshirt. They are super comfortable, and are an essential must to have in a wardrobe.

#2: Fuzzy Slippers

These are the best things in the world. Fuzzy slippers are like heaven on your feet. They're optimal for chilling around the house, or even wearing to school. I've had mine for years, and they still haven't given out yet.

#1: Dress With Tights

This is the most essential thing to have for the fall. If you want to be somewhat dressy, but still comfy, this look is for you. I love wearing casual dresses in the fall, but tights are also a must if it's cold. Pair this with an infinity scarf and boots, and BAM, you have the cutest outfit ever.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
